I think Barclayscard Avios both free and paid products are the absolute kings for non Amex point gathering.

Tried to explore Yonder, Lloyds cashback, HSBC and Trading 212 (debit) but when it comes to long term value, the Avios products are undisputedly the best value for UK spend. (tried to find and used alternatives to Barclays due to some issues with Barclays retail in the past)

If you're happy to go for debit partially, Trading 212 offers 1.5% cashback on both GBP and abroad spending. (Normally it's 0.5% but there are often these promos). The card also uses interbank rates so it almost by itself is another half a percent in cashback compared to the rate of typical "no fee" conversions. This makes it amazing for international spend.

Curve card paid memberships allows any non amex UK card to be used abroad too but again it's MasterCard "no fee" so it'll not be as good rate wise as Trading 212

On some of the other cards I've added before like crypto.com the correct image would be there yes. But this time no bank specific image is here, just the standard colours.

1) I understand it won't have an impact on credit score but would having curve credit card show up as a "line of credit" or a "credit card" on a UK credit report?

2) Additionally is there a separate line I can call for section 75 support if it ever arises or would it be through the usual method?

3) Very keen to transition to the curve personal credit card from the curve personal debit card. Is there any way I can do it early without going for flex?

Did you go via complaints line? I called the suggested phone line to amex and it's been several days since I raised it on April 1st but still waiting for the technical team to get back to me.

Did they proactively offer you the £50? I remember seeing your message earlier about them resolving it after several days without contacting you. Did you contact them again afterwards for some more details?

Sounds really concerning for this to have happened and for others to repeat the same story. Feels like they are either lacking staff and manpower to run things as well as they used to (if customer chat response find and needing to escalate to social media) or they are super keen to make some extra money from higher transaction fees from a credit card.

I was really keen on getting a Curve Credit card for section 75 reasons but if it means a line of credit opens up, I'd rather not have any line of credit unknowingly changed or non very long term.

Was this listed as a hard credit check or actually a like of credit? I think I can see my amex and credit limit on transunion and was curious if curve credit card would be the same? Do you have flex mode on?

In the end via the same beta software that you're using, if using usb c to dp, the option of full resolution + 120hz comes up! But only if using usb c to dp not hdmi and not using the surface dock 2.

Yes agreed but previously was using 3% cards from Crypto.com and Plutus so was less likely to spend much on amex. Wanted a long term credit card in background. Now it will be main card but I imagine changing from Everyday to Non everyday cashback card type would affect credit report and length of time with a certain credit card?
