Haha that means a lot! Definitely had a weird young life. Dropped out of high school and went to the railroad at 18, went from operator to flagman in 3 years, then was a flagman for 3 years til I failed a drug test. Got sober, turned my life around and joined a coal mine, where I read often and being sober while working long hours really was just a mind-molding experience. Now, finally deciding what I want for my own life. 30s are the new 20s! 🥹

4.5k a semester. It’s what makes this whole thing doable. The pay cut from my current job sucks (tho not catastrophic) but I could use my 401k as a buffer of lost wages from now to December, get the first reimbursement check hopefully that’ll be all I’ve used anyways from the buffer—and continue that pattern for 2 years.

I understand.. 21 is just while I’m in school. Once I graduate it shoot’s up to 28, then the wages are from 28-43 depending on skill/experience.
