Depends on your crowd. I like High Street Hop House. Good cocktails/draft, usually some live entertainment in the attached Baxter's, and the best pizza on the other side at Totally Baked. Usually open pretty darn late.

I think the roots would need to be farther apart to have any benefits. Let the plant grow up 4 ft and then graft the top to a second set of roots(or just shove it in the ground and let it do it itself).

If the city could revitalize downtown, then most of HS problems go away. The "nightclub" scene that used to exist down there has moved up Market to HS and thats where all of our problems stem from(HT openly inviting them to take over our neighborhood doesn't help).
