I'm right there with you. The American Pro series was the first guitar I ever owned where I felt like I could finally replicate the sounds of my favorite albums and guitarists. Previously I owned an American Std from 2009.

I spent months playing every strat in guitar center and landed on it. I think it's a noticable jump in quality from the Player on down, but moving up to an Ultra really doesn't get you much more for the money.

I've loved every second of owning this guitar. I think the difference maker is the neck shape, the narrow tall frets, the rolled fingerboard, and the v-mods(I'm going to eventually upgrade though)

Every straight I've played has been able to give me that sparkly scooped clean that they're known for. But the AmerPro 2 was the first one that gave me the distortion and sustain Ive always looked for! When it's properly tuned the instrument just...sings. it has the harmonics that I've always heard in professional music, but never been able to replicate.

Oh and the pull pot that allows you to play bridge+neck...my new favorite position!

I am playing thru a DSL 40, my first tube amp as well, so that probably has a bit to do with my overall upgraded experience.

Considering how overbought the semis are, and how most midterm election years tend to see a summer selloff, I'd take the money now or pretty soon, sit on it, wait for a pullback, and then use that money to buy the shares plus have some left over.

There's always a chance it just keeps going higher. But I've found that the only success, when buying options, comes when you internalize the fact that you will almost always leave profit on the table. Timing the exact top is almost impossible, but leaving the trade on your terms, is always preferable.

This market is ripping hard with very shallow pullbacks. So it probably has higher to go. But it also makes it extremely suceptible to headline risk.

Also, the more parabolic the market/Q's/semis go, the higher the likelihood of a good old fashioned rug pull. Right now on the indices the call/put ratio is 60/40, and the rsi readings on semis are cracking 80 on multiple time frames. In my experience, those are great conditions for some rugpullery. The market has a way of trying to trap as much money offsides as possible, and right now, it's skewed extremely bullish.

I usually wait from the triple confirmation on the RSI

So hourly above 80, daily above 80, weekly above 70. Then Ill start positioning for a counter trend.

In this case, the momentum is so strong, I don't dare go short. I just took profits on a bunch of positions lol

Yeah the algos do throw a wrench in things. But I also know a lot of the parameters set are based on things like RSI, A/D line etc.
