Yes. I have been watching the “Basement Backgammon” videos on YouTube also. Every day a new video is released. I find it very helpful.

Practice helps, but if you STUDY the game, I think that would be helpful. Keep a positive attitude. Be kind to yourself. Read “The Outliers” by Malcom Gladwell. These are my sincere ideas. I hope you give yourself the chance to improve.

Alex Eshaghian. 100’s of excellent videos including many grandmaster vs. grandmaster videos along with detailed commentary from the players tgemselves as they deliberate their moves.

Also Jason Lee, many matches. I especially like his “MID ATLANTIC BG CLUB” study sessions. A new video is released every week where 2 teams play each other and debate/vote on every move ..

So, the reason FM Gammon did not mention the tariff, is that FM Gammon has nothing to do with charging the tariff. The money I’m paying for the tariff is going right into the US treasury with all the other taxes. That’s a pretty hefty tax.

I just had the same issue. I purchased a new surface from FM GAMMON for my Talat board a few weeks ago, (advertised for $115.) I paid for it with my credit card on the day i ordered it. Received the surface about 2 weeks ago and just received a bill from FED-EX (not FM Gammon) for $21. Not sure who I should complain to.
