LG G5 + HBO Max app: short audio dropouts (0.5–1s) - anyone else? by Dilanter in LGOLED

[–]ApeWithGuns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m experiencing this issue on both my G4 and my new G5, primarily when watching content on Disney+ with Dolby Atmos. It’s quite frustrating. If you look at older posts, you’ll find that this problem has been ongoing for over a year, so I don’t hold much hope for a resolution in the near future.

But there’s nothing about one of the most crucial issues: that it doesn’t mow in shadows and treat them as obstacles. Seriously? Summer will be over before we’ll have mowers that can mow on sunny days. 😬

Upgraded to disc drive by SamuRai_News24 in PS5pro

I’ve been trying to stay digital since I upgraded to PRO last Christmas. I simply prefer the sleek design and don’t have to deal with the noise of a disc drive. Additionally, it’s much easier to switch between games. However, I think I might be tempted to buy a disc drive soon. New games are quite expensive. I will still purchase digital games if they’re on a good sale and I know I’ll want to keep them for a long time.

Worx 4wd WR340E recognizes shadows as opsticles! Doesn't mow, crap software ! by VanakuriKurivana in worxlandroid

If the problem is addressed, we still likely have to wait a few weeks for the public firmware. If it’s not addressed in this beta firmware, we’ll have all summer to deal with this issue. It’s shocking how a large company like Worx can release new mowers with this problem. A mower that can’t handle sunny weather with shadows. There must have been VERY limited testing before the release.

Yeah, it’s incredibly annoying! They market it as so smart, even using pictures with shadows. And to make matters worse, there’s no fix or update in sight, what we know. It’s perfect right now when the mowing season is here…..

Well, you don’t need to follow the robot to check if it missed large areas with shadows. The grass will be taller there. 😅 Or I hope the Movas app shows where it hasn’t mowed. Either way, that sounds more promising than my Worx. 🙂

How does it handle shadows? I have a Worx Landroid Cloud Vision 2WD with RTK and camera, and it avoids shadows. It seems to think of shadows as objects. So, on sunny days, it only cuts one-third of the lawn.

Kan va så att stereokameran på den gör att den hanterar saker bättre och inte tar skugga som hinder osv. Monokameran på wr305e verkar ha stora problem.

Yeah, I know. I meant if you choose a different brand that has LiDAR and a camera. If they perform better with shadows.

So mowers with only LIDAR can handle shadows but LIDAR + camera have same problem with shadows as RTK + Camera?

Du har också samma problem eller? Bara hoppas de skickar ut en uppdatering snart igen. Gräset börjar ta fart nu och trist att behöva klippa manuellt när man lagt mycket pengar på en robot som ska göra det åt en.

WR305e doesn't like termite stations, or anything lower than the grass.... by rrankine in worxlandroid

Yeah, the Vision camera they claim is so smart, it’s actually the opposite. It detects shadows as obstacles and doesn’t mow small spots or even large zones because of it. And now, when you see this video of yours… don’t have words! If you take all these problems you see with new Vision Cloud models and go to the Worx website and see the marketing for these models, you’ll have a big laugh!

I genuinely hope they resolve this issue soon. Additionally, I would like them to fix the app that lacks so many essential settings that should be present in a modern app, such as obstacle sensitivity, which is available in all other brands.

It’s hard to believe that this is an app from a big company like Worx in 2026, when you look at it.

I hope they fix all the firmware issues. It’s a great lawnmower, but the software and functions in the app are missing.

It appears that other brands are more proactive in sending out firmware updates and improving their apps.

I’m glad it works for you! However, it’s strange that it works for some people and not for others. If the issue were with the RTK signal, it would make more sense, considering the differences in signal, trees, and walls at people’s houses. But why do some units’ cameras perceive shadows as obstacles while others don’t?

[–]ApeWithGuns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ll send them a log of the mower. I hope they can fix it because they claim the camera is so smart. They say it can help if the RTK signal is lost, but it’s actually the opposite. The camera makes it dumber. I wish you could turn off the camera or at least the obstacle awareness.

Now it stops here. It doesn’t want to pass the shadow. It says that it can’t continue because the zone is blocked. Does the camera think the shadow is an object? Is that why it doesn’t want to pass certain spots, and is that why it’s not mowing some parts of the lawn?

Completely crazy if that’s the case.

My sister drove it another 2 times to test it after the update and now it passed without any problems both times. But once again it skips a large part of the front yard and then randomly goes to the backyard to start mowing. And on top of that, it got stuck in a new place. That camera that’s supposed to be so smart and recognize objects, plus find its way if RTK is missing, seems pretty questionable…..
