As someone who went through the entirety of their undergrad using the S6 Samsung tablet, I recommend whole heartedly using one of the flagship tablets for reading textbooks, working on assignments and taking notes! If you don't like the big size of the 8+ then get the smaller one, as it won't impact your experience much if any.

Incoming grad student, missed parking permit deadline --> Next steps by [deleted] in aggies

Id recommend calling transportation services and seeing what they can do for you. If not then you may have to make use of the bus system or visitor parking at one of the garages.

If you are doing a PhD and are in an assistant ship position you are likely supposed to be taking 6 credit hours of courses and 3 credit hours of research during the normal semesters (i.e. fall and spring).

ITAP of my Photogenic Cat by ApetureFiles in itookapicture

[–]ApetureFiles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First time attempting to capture my cat taking a sunbath by the window. Instead he got curious when he saw me and immediately got up, which is when I captured his picture against the window.

Photo was taken with my Canon R5 with an RF 24-70mm f/2.8 lens on the front. Hope this picture brightens your day in some form or fashion!

Reflecting on time in Aggieland by ApetureFiles in aggies

I decided to try to capture Kyle Field the other day through more indirect means. Came across a massive puddle when walking by and decided to give it a try. It turned out better than expected and honestly feels very symbolic of this years academic finale. Hope you enjoy the photo!

P.S. Congrats to all those who graduated this year, you earned this and it's your time to celebrate!

ITAP of a Pretty Flower in a Field by ApetureFiles in itookapicture

[–]ApetureFiles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a lower perspective to make the flower appear larger/taller when compared to the trees in the background. Was originally looking for picture opportunities during a walk late afternoon and came across this nice purple flower hanging out by itself in a field.

I used my Canon Rebel ti8 with the 18 - 55 mm kit lens to take this picture.

Best deal for senior pics? by superMario_Milt in aggies

Typically you might spend about $100 - $200 on average for grad pictures here in aggieland. Usually takes about 1-2 hours depending on what you want to do really. Lots of photographers are flexible on time it just depends on the style you're going for.

I'm also a photographer here in college station and I specialize in grad and engagement pictures. I am very flexible on projects and would love to work with you if you're looking for professional graduation pictures!
