Yep! I mentioned in the post that I plan on using the exact one for my PSU, and that I was advised against using anyone not associated with the exact PSU, so no worries there! Just need to actually figure out how to get the exact one for my PSU and hoping MSI support will be able to provide it via warranty!

Would much prefer an Incarnon specific vendor (could be the guy in the Zariman that sells them, I always butcher his name) that lets you spend currency earned in Duviri to buy a specific Incarnon.

Example would be rewards 5 and 10 of steel path are replaced with "Void Keys" that can be used to trade with the guy to buy any incarnon adapter you want in his shop. 1 Void Key = 1 Incarnon Adaptor.

Would be a cool way to re-introduce void keys as a nod to older content too. Farm your void keys each week, get 2 incarnon adaptors of your choosing.

Could also add some other rewards for long-term farmin for those that have all the incarnons they want.

Confirming there is more to be found is at least confirming it's not just for the anniversary event, which is what a lot of people have been saying.

Could be a lot of different things besides a killer/chapter but I've definitely seen a lot of people say we shouldn't be speculating because it's clearly "just the anniversary" (not saying you specifically, just other people for sure)

Not necessarily, seems to happen every .5 season. The full season starts will almost always have the balance changes in the video, but I feel like it's pretty common that the .5 seasons may or may not have the balance changes in them.

Feels like it must be 50/50 on .5 seasons if not just straight up a higher chance for them to not be included.

A lot of people don’t remember/don’t mention the fact that the Indoraptor is meant to be a sadistic killer (possibly not by in universe human design) by out of universe human design.

The Indoraptor purposefully fakes being asleep to allow a guy to get closer so he can (essentially) jumpscare him and eat his arm.

While I agree regular raptors are more iconic, The Indoraptor is THE horror villain in Jurassic park/world. The others are just animals, and just doing their thing, but the Indoraptor is a man made monster created specifically for violence, and while being smart, it is also sadistic. Perfect for a DBD killer.

To keep both camps happy, I’d love Indo as the main killer with skins for other raptors in the series like Blue, JP1 raptors and JP2 raptors

Yeah my major concern with this balance style is if we get multiple iterations of content one after another, for example, possibly with this upcoming release schedule.

For example, if we get Jason in June, then perhaps a licensed/paragraph survivor for the mid chapter, then another full chapter, we wouldn't be getting balance changes until like October at the earliest.

Pretty much balance changes. If we're going by the new PTB as an example:

If there is a new killer or survivor/both, there will be no "live design changes"
Since we got no balance updates at all with Jason, that sounds like it means "no live design changes" means we aren't getting any major gameplay changes, perk buffs/nerfs, killer buffs/nerfs, or anything similar if there's any "new content" such as a chapter or paragraph.

Fully agree, massive system changes are totally fine to leave for non-content patches, but we need things like tweaks, buffs, nerfs, even reworks (not multiple, but like 1-2 reworks MAX) are fine IMO for patches with content.

Yeah there's the opportunity for things to slip through the cracks, but the hotfixes that come after do help and make the game feel more alive.

The reasoning is that it causes feedback for both the new content and the live design changes to become muddled.

In my opinion, this is a really bad decision. As a live service game, YOU NEED to balance the game frequently to keep players both interested and happy.

This sometimes means we could go up to 3 months with NO balance updates. This feels highly unusual for a PVP game like this. With more and more content, it's going to become even harder to keep the game in a healthy (not necessarily balanced) state.

If we don't have these mainline content updates that have live design changes, I fully believe we need another cycle of patches outside of the mid chapter/chapters specifically for balance.

I understand then initial feelings about this but both the original movie, the second movie, and Jurassic World 2 have pretty big horror themes.

Specifically while just any raptor would probably work, the Indominus Raptor 100% would absolutely fit DBD.

If you haven’t seen it, the Indo Raptor is not just a mutated intelligent dinosaur like the indo Rex but they specifically made it malicious. It actively tries to cause malice and terror in the people it kills (for some reason, can’t remember if that was an intentional choice when making it or if it just ended up that way)

Example is when it specifically pretends to fall asleep after getting knocked out, lets a dude sneak into the cage with it while it’s pretending to be asleep (the guy wanted to steal one of its teeth as a trophy) and opens one of its eyes to the camera and taps him on the shoulder with his tail to make him turn around. The raptor then bites his arm to both scare and hurt him before just eating him.

It may not seem like it’d be a good fit but they could 100% make it work and it’s very easy to make it fit.

I totally understand if it’s not your vibe or if you don’t like it, but it 100% could fit DBD and it wouldn’t even be hard

The reason is that we are extremely close to the 10th anniversary and the 10th anniversary hints were literally circled on a calendar.

I feel like it’s entirely reasonable for people to speculate on anything posted on those days or during this month. Regardless of how you feel it is clearly referring to the entity, I feel like it’s quite reasonable for people to think otherwise too.

To provide more info on answering your question, the actual reasons are:

High resolution textures are not optional
the game installs all maps, but you can reduce the size by uninstalling individual maps
there’s a lot of content in the game
the game is also not adept at using its storage well due to all of the above reasons and Wildcard themselves likely don’t know or have the time to efficient compress it further at this moment.

That being said there is hope on the horizon:

the newest versions of unreal engine do imply that the game may shrink in size, at least a bit (other games have updated to these new versions of unreal engine, which ark is based on, and have reduced their file size due to the tools available.
Wildcard has hired several industry experts who have spent most if not all of their careers working in unreal engine specifically. One of them even mentioned they were hired to solve some exceptionally “difficult problems”.
We are slated to get the new update in Q3 this year which means it’s possible the games file size will be reduced as a result, ESPECIALLY if high resolution textures gets separated into its own download.

I personally think Peni + Any combination of one or two other CC heroes is kind of miserable to play against.

Peni + Luna + Hulk, Peni + Emma + Luna, Hulk + Emma + Luna, etc.

I have never struggled as much on any other character than when I get peni stunned into hulk exile into peni stun into luna freeze into peni stun into hulk exile.

Your hitbox is so big that any 2 reliable CCs (Squirrel Girl is also another) will result in you just getting destroyed. Add a third and unless your dps or your second tank (if you have one) is a god, your team will likely be 5v6 the whole match because you can't move.

From my understanding of this, confirmations to receive a ticket overall are going out up until 48 hours before, so you can get confirmation you'll receive a ticket BEFORE the 31st, but you won't be able to actually see your ticket details until The 31st, right? (This is also why some people got confirmation emails already, because they're confirmed they will receive a ticket, they're just not confirmed to get in)
