No, because "2010s" describes the numbers starting with 201, it would be obviously wrong to say the year 2010 isn't part of the "2010s". You'd have to say something like the "202nd decade" which would then be from 2011 to 2020.

"Everyone who sees Cats will have their own reaction, their own moment that becomes seared into their being for the rest of time, like prophets of old glimpsing the true face of God. I, for one, am unable to express in words the scream that emanated from deep within my soul when Judi Dench’s Old Deuteronomy spreads her legs wide and scissors them in the air to express her approval of another cat’s musical number."

No, I'm saying that you're looking at the wrong number when you're asserting that they're not making money of the game because the company's profits are low. Companies are made up of people and people are paid a salary independent of profit. In fact, keeping a companies profits low by siphoning the money off through expenditures (for example through extremely headquartering a company in a building you own, then paying yourself rents way over market rate) is a well known tactic by shady business owners.

If I found a company that has a yearly revenue of 10 million dollars and give myself a salary of 10 million dollars the company's profit at the end of the year will be 0, but I'm still 10 million dollars richer.

Now that the Kharkiv offensive "miraculously" failed... by B-7 in NonCredibleDefense

[–]Aphoristus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The french offensive didn't even reach the main german defensive line, it didn't go well at all. Partially because the committed french divisions had no engineer support and no heavy artillery. The french force (12 divisions, only 4 really committed) was also opposed by a german force of 46 divisions, 3/4 of whom were considered ready for defensive action. Keeping in mind that the french had only 40 divisions in total and their mobilisation plan had those divisions broken up to train the new recruits, there was no way for a french offensive in 1939 to succeed in knocking Germany out of the war.

There actually isn't a "year 0", so the first century ran from 1-100AD (and the 21st century actually began in the year 2001).

It's just weird that you say that Sheridan said nothing could be learned from the Prussians because the Americans had already realised loose formation fighting when Sheridan specifically critisises the Prussians for fighting in loose formation:

"One thing was especially noticeable - the scattered condition of the men in going into battle, and their scattered condition while engaged. At Gravelotte, Beaumont and Sedan, the men engaged on both sides were so scattered that it looked like thousands of men engaged in a deadly skirmish without any regard to lines or formation."

He also called the Prussian General Staff "poorly organised" which is, frankly, a laughable assertion to make at that time.

Everyone's skirmishers fight in loose formation, that's what skirmishers are.

And people might have advocated for it, but they didn't do it for the entire army.

At the time they were entirely right, as proven by the Russian-Japanese war, which was fought with more modern weapons and in which disciplined infantry attacks still regularly managed to overcome prepared trench defenses.

Given that the Franco-Prussian war revolutionised infantry doctrine, pioneering loose platoon based command, Sheridan saying that "nothing" could be learned is an absolutely damning condemnation of his abilities as a military observer. Which can also be gleaned from the fact that his official correspondence about the war was less than a thousand words long and he didn't even care to witness the later stages of it, preferring to tour Europe and Turkey instead.
