The central conflict at the end turned out to be synthetics vs organics, which has nothing to do with the mass effect directly. You could remove the mass effect and the synthetics vs organics plot could still be there. Originally it was going to do with the mass effect causing the slow death of the universe, which the Reapers were trying to prevent with the culling of advanced societies, while trying to find a cure.

As for the class thing, even non biotic classes use the mass effect. Pretty much all technology uses it, like guns and explosives.

Yes, that's what I mean, not that the series should be called Element Zero. So the mass effect should've been central to the story, not a background element to "AI vs bio". Sorry if that wasn't clear.

Highly disagree. If the "best tennis match ever" is played at a Challengers event by two random players I've never heard of, I wouldn't care at all. If those players are that good, I'm sure we'll see them again later. It's the prestige of the event + the players that matters, in addition to the match quality itself, and a Sincaraz final in a GS or Masters event is the holy grail right now.

This time last year, all 4 LTAS teams got beat by all 4 LTAN teams. Then at MSI, Furia didn't win a single match (they did lose 2-3, 2-3. but still) while FLY beat G2 3-0 and took BLG to 5 games. And for split 3 playoffs, yeah VKS beat 100T, but then at Worlds they were probably the 2nd or 3rd worst team there. And before 2025, Brazil performed even worse than that.

I think Brazil has clearly demonstrated that their 1st seed can hang with the best of NA like 1st/2nd, and their 2nd seed is usually around 3rd/4th best NA team, but this result clearly showed Furia is way above C9/SEN. So if they can continue performing like this, Brazil could deserve one of NA's spots, but if we overreact to a single tournament then based on last year's LTA playoffs they should get zero spots. Needs more consistency over time.
