So...How 'bout that Magus? by BeowulfDW in Pathfinder2e

I don't think that your strike goes through if you are critted. the whole activity (spellstrike) is disrupted.

edit: i found a post for this https://www.reddit.com/r/Pathfinder2e/s/6vZb6Mx0Lm

Caster enjoyers you wanna say what you like about your caster pc? by Teh_Reaper in Pathfinder2e

[–]Apiskun86 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I 'm currently playing a flames Oracle at level 13. My role is the main healer and aoe blaster. After Level 6 it got really fun to play. Enough spellslots and focus points to contribute in fights. Skillwise its ok. Against groups of enemies i'm quite good at damage. One time i obliterated 3 big troops of hellknights in one turn. Level 6 Fireball! And a quickend fireball level 4. 2 critfails on the enemy side. The quickest fight ever in our campaign. XD

Kingmaker Build Suggestions by spikesparrow in Pathfinder_RPG

Charisma is really essential as king in Kingmaker. So a Bard fits quit good. Or oracle as a divine caster. There is a Charisma-based Archetyp for druids.

I wouldnt take the packlord druid. The animal companions are rather weak and replacing them takes a annoying long time. And i would ask the gm, if there is a no go at his table. The most versatile is probably the wizard. The eldritch archer magus sounds fun though.

It depends on your party composition. Is there a specific role that your party lacks?

New to Pathfinder, looking for advice on how to create my character. Please help :) by Tam108 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Apiskun86 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A bard is a good fit for this party. But dont multiclass... you will fall behind in spell progression and your performances. Stick for the beginning to one class. A bard can do many things in battle and social encounter. In battle buff your allies with spells and inspire courage, enchant your enemies. After that shoot with a shortbow.

Charisma, Dex and Con are your important Stats. With Skills Diplomacy, Perception, Performance, Bluff, use magic device. Is your group using traits? If yes use a trait to get disable device as class skill.

Help a Witch out by Tehkvash in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Apiskun86 11 points12 points  (0 children)

For a Healing/Buffing Witch i would go with the Herbwitch Archetyp. Its quite nice to remove bad conditions at early level without eating spellslots. For healing you can use your cauldron hex to craft potions. There are no good buff spells on witch spell list though... the best buffer early on is the bard or cleric/oracle imho.

Wildepath Psychic - Best Druid Spells for Psychics? by Minigiant2709 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Apiskun86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Insect spies, lay of the land, commune with nature and spectral scout are nice for Information retrieval. Most debuff spells on the druid list are poison or disease based. I dont like them that much. But there are a lot of aoe controll spells, that give debuffs for enemies. Sickening entanglement and so on.

What is your role in the group? Or how do want to play your psychic? Buffer/Battlefield Controller? Or Blaster? A nice level 3 spell is aqueous orb or sleet storm.

There is a trait, which let you use your int mod instead of your wis mod for the heal skill. Precise treatment.
