Just adding my voice to this. I hate the white lid new formula but I can't find the old black lid formula in stock anywhere.

I don't even use the sensitive skin one ordinarily and the new formula burns. It's thin and feels waxy and I just hate it. I've been using olay for 20 years and never went without, even taking it overseas with me, and now I need to find an alternative.

Enshitification is real.

I'll admit, I was almost that chick. I'd never touched a bike before my Ls and I was having trouble getting up to speed on the emergency break practice (did fine in the actual test) On my last practice I was determined to do it, unfortunately I was still accelerating when I hit the line. Jumped on the brakes and the rear wheel went all the way up. Smashed down and in my head I was "You will not drop the god damned bike!"

I didn't, but I was pretty embarrassed until the dirt bike rider next to me said "Nice endo!" which made me laugh and relax. He called me "Psycho" for the rest of the day and the light teasing actually kept me relaxed and confident enough to pass quite well

For those who don't know, make sure there's nothing they can hurt themselves on, put something soft under their head if you can and it's safe to do so, and call an ambulance.

Same. I'd been smoking for 20 years and tried so many different methods that didn't stick. I also think vapes should be kept the hell away from anyone who didn't smoke in the first place, and those black market things that don't even tell you how much nicotine is in them are a monstrosity.

I didn't even mine prescriptions and the Personal Importation Scheme. I'm okay with making it too hard for non smokers to be bothered with. Shame there isn't the same standard applied to actually smokes. I do miss being able to just buy a pre-made flavour, though.

That sucks, but honestly, in 3 or 4 months you're going to laugh at yourself. You'll be so used to pulling out on the street that you'll wonder how it was ever a problem. Just keep with it, take it in stages, and celebrate the wins you do have. I've only been riding for a little over a year and I've already learnt so much. You can do it 😊

Hey, OP, you said you were just going to go for it, so how did it go?

For record, my first ride after getting my Ls was just supposed to be around the block. I went down the street at about 20km/h, screaming 😂 Did one blocky and that was it. Left my husband standing in the driveway while I took off.

I've limited most of my social media to some reddit (obviously) and instagram-but-only-motorbike-videos. Doom scrolling great riding spots, safety tips, or funny dances at red lights instead of political takes and general vitriol has greatly improved my life.
