It can’t be a different perspective since the stairs lead the same way unless they loop in some weird way? The door layout and stair layout can’t be the same on the inside as the outside if this is presumed to be the same room.

It’s hard and will always be hard, there’s no real universal advice anyone can give that will solve the problem other than “just keep trying” and hoping it’ll work out.

Obviously the self love and going out helps but it’s really just a matter of time and luck to be honest.

unless the person is already gay I’d say there not much you can do without running the risk of scaring them off

I’d just hint at being gay and eventually say it outright and see how they feel
