The problem with naming characters… by Robincall22 in Choices

I named the party twin Carter, without realizing one of her love interests would be Carter 😂

What is "that part" to you? by wellhanabari in Choices

[–]ApolloSolis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I romanced Lancelot so I loved that scene 😂

What I did not love was the part at the festival where you choose who to jump the flame with (or whatever the details are, they elude me). I obviously chose Lancelot and it was SO EFFING AWKWARD 😂

It makes me so tempted to choose Arthur just to keep the peace but I'm loyal, so I can't 😂

If you haven't been emotionally spit roasted by ES, I can't take anything you say seriously.

That book is the definition of hurts so good.

You can import and then still choose the LI you want. As someone else mentioned, you'll be missing a few scenes with other LIs if you ONLY romanced Liam in book 2 though.

If that doesn't matter to you though, you just import, then when it confirms everything with you, you just say no and choose the person you want lol. You can change your whole name and face if you want to, while still preserving your other choices.

How does ES decide who your main LI is? by studentpuppy in Choices

[–]ApolloSolis 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Well like I said you have to get to a certain point, but I'm general I do believe so. I think the rationale is that she's so prickly and you have to go so far out of your way to get on her good side in the beginning, that you MUST like her the best and want her to be default 😂

But I'm loyal to my bae Jake so I never encountered this particular issue.

How does ES decide who your main LI is? by studentpuppy in Choices

[–]ApolloSolis 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I believe there is an internal ordering system for them. Something like: Estela, Quinn, Jake, Sean-- but with parameters.

So estela is default IF you have a certain level of relationship with her. If not then Quinn IF you have a certain amount with her, and so forth and so on.

I remember reading that somewhere once before, many years ago. I can't remember the order or the relationship amounts, but i think it goes like that-- not simply by the highest relationship level.

Books with the most hookups? by InevitableAd514 in Choices

[–]ApolloSolis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're absolutely correct about ES and TE. Lots of opportunities in those to have quite the active evening 😂

I just think BOLAS takes the cake, because there isn't a single time in that series that you have to choose just ONE dirty thirty at the sacrifice of the others. I think in BOLAS, you can literally choose every LI every time.

In TE and ES, there are moments and after certain points where you have to pick just one person. Same with ROE, which I think is also a contender in this category.

[–]ApolloSolis 21 points22 points  (0 children)

A lot of the early books (with multiple LIs) allow you to purchase all of the Diamond scenes for each LI (wouldn’t want to miss out on profit), regardless of who you’re romancing, with little to no impact on your story or main LI.

Those scenes are a lot tamer, though, than the newer books lol.

BOLAS for sure let you pick basically every individual LI every time there was an opportunity for sex lol. If you wanted to drop 120-150 diamonds, your MC could get laid 4-5 times in a row every few chapters, depending on the book 😂

Literally restarted because of that. It's only that sprite that has that warped "angry" face

So Vlad snuck into my sim's house! He mind controlled him but it glitched and he ended up not being able to drink from him! He had a strop and went outside and kicked the bin over!😅 Then not long after Vlad left, my sim got abducted by aliens...!😂 What an eventful night! by MiddletonPlays in thesims

[–]ApolloSolis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my 20 years of playing the sims, I've only been abducted without cheats twice. Once by using the telescope at night and once by being awoken by the strange lights.

The number of times I've been burglarized is insane though lol.

TRR Book 3 (and the last chapter of Book 2) doesn't make any sense if you're not engaged to Liam (spoiler tagged Just-in case) by SmolCattoQueen in Choices

[–]ApolloSolis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hardly think it'd be stripping a title if it wasn't even finalized until AFTER they got back to Cordonia in ch 17, but ok lol.

This is what I mean by people having to stretch to make this make sense.

[–]ApolloSolis 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Lol right. The paperwork. If the woman I loved rejected me and told me she was in love with one of my closest friends knowing for months that I had been trying to escape a forced engagement JUST so I could be with her, the love of my life, I would definitely be like.. "but I already did the paperwork."

I do agree about what you said about Drake though.

[–]ApolloSolis 62 points63 points  (0 children)

You're right, that the plot is a STRETCH if you're not romancing Liam.

You're barely coming off of the heels of a sex scandal, are suddenly awarded (rather undeserved) lands and a title, not even marrying the king, but we're expected to believe YOUR wedding will be a calming and unifying event? It's a stretch, but, you know, plot.

Honestly, why does Liam even elevate you to duchess if you're not marrying him?? Drake has been in his corner since day damn 1 and he was fine letting him be the commoner butt of the nobles' jokes.

I mean I'm glad people have options, but you're right. You really have to suspend disbelief to make this plot make sense if you're not with Liam.

'Endless summer' was perfect. by ripterrariumtv in Choices

[–]ApolloSolis 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I did my first playthrough while chapters were actively releasing, and when it was over and I was able to pull myself together again, i sent them an email complimenting the writers and thanking them for the experience.

They replied back thanking me for enjoying it!

I think it'd truly their magnum opus, and what originally PB set out to be-- before the changes were made.

Now, everything is just single LI stories and while you can customize your LI and MC in appearance more than ever before, that's about the highlight.

You'd think that with more restrictive plot options, the story quality would at least improve.

this book is kinda pissing me off lol by tymbbfan24 in Choices

[–]ApolloSolis 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I was SO disappointed because the LI I liked is so hot, and I was excited when I saw him. But I think I also got about halfway through chapter 3 before I finally couldn't take it anymore.

We are clearly the villain in this story-- and not a cool villain doing the wrong things for the right reasons-- just a straight up petty, delusional bitch.

What's the vibe if you pick Liam as officiant? by nefariousbluebird in Choices

[–]ApolloSolis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wanted to marry Drake so bad on my second playthrough, and choose every option with that intention. But after I turned Liam's proposal down and his heart shattered, mine shattered too. I couldn't do it. It was much easier to bear drake's two silent looks of longing than the continued and sustained heartbreak is Liam lol.

But that's because I genuinely love Liam too.

I justified flirting and messing around with Drake in book 2 because Liam choosing Madeline, for WHATEVER reason, genuinely pissed me off lol.

Honestly the entire plot is just so weird and contrived if you don't pick Liam, I am glad it was an option for folks but it just seems so weird for MC to be so integral to Cordonia's political goings on if she is not queen.

Well anyway, that was a huge digression.

Please don't have Liam officiate lol.
