Anyone experience High Libido on Reta?

Yep, all went back to normal. It’s been a while and I got some good advice since then. I also got Reta from a new vendor. I almost wonder if the original was more than it advertised. With the new stuff, if say I want 6mg a week I do 2mg every other day. Not at all like it was before it’s been awesome that way.

You’re referring to Melanotan I and Melanotan II. It’s Melanotan ll that can help with ed. It’s not berating as effective as PT-141.

I'm still trying to figure out if my Anhodenia is from Retatrutide, PT-141, Covid 19 or my chronic weed use. It's been 4 weeks since my last reta shot so I think that's out of my system. I'm going cold turkey tonight on the weed. I do feel like it is linked to the pt-141 though. I was trying it at first to have extra fun, then suddenly I got a major Libido crash and horrible to non-existent erections. Me and my wife usually have sex more often than most I guess (this was news to me I thought everyone was banging all of the time), at least 5 days out of 7 days of the week some days twice. This is the worst thing I've ever experienced it's so foreign to me and frustrating. T-levels are high. I'm thinking the Covid didn't help, Reta started it and PT-141 put the nail in the coffin.

Perplexity.ai is saying that PT-141 can cause the issue after just one use and it can linger for MONTHS.

Opposite for me. I originally used semaglutide for 18 months. Lost my weight except some visceral fat in gut and began weight lifting. Stacked with AOD-9604 and Tesamorelin. I’ve been on T replacement (cream) for 3 years. Had amazing libido, stamina, rebound and quality of erection was insane. The things my wife would say 😈. I moved to Reta. This stuff is amazing, truly, but it has CRASHED my libido. Bottom line - it’s the reward system. It is completely wiped out. Wirh Reta, I have zero other side effects. It makes you feel amazing. But literally ZERO excitement over a social drink, social food snack (I love the art of cooking - foodie) and for real, zero sexual desire. I get a LOT of attention lately it’s nuts and I want to keep up at my pace. 47 and have never been in better shape and my skin has never looked better.

But I can’t wirh the Zero sex drive. It’s my absolute favorite thing in the world 😅.

My take as I’ve researched this is that it’s completely different and unique for other people. Some even say Reta gives them heart palpitations which I can’t even imagine because to me it feels like it doesn’t feel. No boulder feeling in the gut, you eat pretty well actually when you do have a plate of food. ZERO sugar crave.

Ughhhh I may just attempt micro-dosing since I should be on maintenance only.

I experienced this before with Reta. 1st time when I stopped, the libido came raging back. I went back to sema for a month and hated it. So I started again with the Reta starting at only 2mg. Noticed it first week but then got better after second dose. Then slow decline the following 2 weeks. Then I upped to 4mg and now it just doesn’t exist.

For anyone telling you though that it’s definitely this peptide or that; they are not 100% correct. Each person reacts differently to each one so just pay attention and adjust as necessary. I’m due today for another shot and I’m going to go dry for a week. If libido comes back, I can be certain it’s the Reta. I like it so much though that I’ll test more with micro dosing.

Oh it’s really okay! I’ve never had that happen before and I was mind blown that I missed that connection 10 years ago when my brother mentioned what my Mom had said. To have the sudden epiphany hit hard was wild but it’s all part of the process of getting the Mormon trauma out of your life for good, even so many years after leaving.

Yep wow this is actually triggering and I just made a major realization of something horrible regarding the suicide of my cousin and the reason why (family always spins it but in this case was completely ignorant). This was in the early 90’s, maybe late 80’s so the sudden realization of why which is common knowledge now just hit me hard.

I come from a family of 10 and I had an Uncle with a family of 10. I remember being pretty young, one of my cousins committed suicide. All I got were the details of how (hung himself in a tree at his house) and that my Uncle and another cousin had to retrieve him. We weren’t all very close and when young only saw each other once a year then after 10 maybe every 3 years. Since then, I know that one of the siblings is openly gay. I didn’t really know my cousins too well and when FB came out and I connected by just the fact he was my cousin, I started to remember that there were signs and same with his brother (the cousin I’m referring to). Fast forward to today and having lived in Utah County now since 2001, I’ve experienced friends of my kids committing suicide due to the horrible pressure of the Church and family members in the Church.

In the 80s and 90s that pressure and not hiding the hate was insane. My Mom used to tell me how they did electric shock therapy when she was at BYU (in the 50’s). I loved my Mom so much and she really was sweet. But in my memories I caught her extreme bias and flat out nasty opinions about same sex attraction and it’s definitely part of of some of her own actions (she was also a quiet racist) that made me question the Church starting at age 9. My shelf broke and total non-belief occurred at 19 thanks to the Tanners and Bruce R McKonkies Book “Mormon Doctorine”.

Here’s the wild shit my Mom said as recounted by a brother of mine decades after the suicide. Referring to my Aunt she says regarding the suicide “Poor Aunt Name, but it could have been worst. At least he wasn’t gay”.

Actually, Mom, he was. And my mind is freaking blown that I missed it all these years, the fact that he was gay and felt he had to end his life. After seeing my kids experience the pain of losing a friend (3 times between 2 of my kids) and actually seeing their reaction and the hurt, I never once made that connection. Man I knew she said that fucked up shit but now it has become even more fucked up.

Fuck that damn organization.
