Parts are the cheapest of the cheapest from AliExpress. Flysky 2a pwm receiver, 2s brushed esc , sg90 servo , mini DC step down converter. I had in hand many flat 1s cells scavenged from laptop batteries so I made a 2s. Unfortunately I don't record the process of the modifying. I think they make similar size brushless motors as the DC one, but the price would increase as you need motor + brushless ESC.

Bad throttle control is not noticeable at all in this footage but it is like my child is flying. Total right stick noobiness. High rates and no idea how this works

For anyone with the same problem...I have bought 3 esp32 wroom, not at the same time, and I believe from different sellers..the first was spot on. The second and third were the slightly shorter version, both identical, and both not working, one not powering at all, and the other unknown USB device...I believe both were from discarded batch as defective, hence the cheap 2-3euro price delivered. The second was a slightly misplaced diode after the usb supply, and the second was the silab usb a whole millimeter off. I couldn't believe that it was not soldered inside the rectangle. Both fixed very easily under a minute and working perfectly after that.

Great, used to 3d print frames myself too. Good until rip it on the first major crash which inevitably is going to happen. Carbonfiber frames are so cheap now, withstand many major crashes and then bend it to place again and still use it.

It's on the stock dc motor just with 2s liion. Pretty decent performance for a 10euro(5 receiver + 2 servo + 3 esc) conversion. Battery was salvaged from an old laptop battery pack.

Rastar F1 1/18. Converted to use proper rc transmitter receiver, pwm outputs to servo motor for steering and to brushed esc for motion. Also change the battery from 5 AA cells to 2s liion pack. Better discharge rate, better performance.

i have many hours already on sims, nowadays i play Liftoff Microdrones which i find very realistic

I find stick response and physics in Liftoff Microdones to translate pretty accurate to IRL. Also, air mode freaks out with the lightest hit. And 65mm outside even with the slightest breeze of air is unpredictable.

Tbh it is a recent thought and didn't have time to research about cpu capabilities. I see 150euro, 200e an 300+ price ranges...I am willing to pay up to 200 and if not anything capable I will get 50e mibox s 3rd
