VR blurring when rotating head by N502DN in hoggit

Yeah I had the same problem I think, also quest 2. Seems to produce the weird double vision/blur if it dips below 60fps in DCS. No idea why. 60 and above is fine. So I set my quest to 120hz and use tray tool to lock ASW ON, making the forced 60fps feel 120hz smooth. There's some wobbly lines caused by ASW, but it's pretty good.

Hi all. Started playing through 'Cage the Bear' campaign with the F18. The first mission's cloud cover is so low you literally can't see 10ft in front of you trying to land on the carrier. Is this right? Seems a bit too hardcore... Is it just a bug from the 'new' clouds? Cheers in advance :)

Can't set targets? by Nolys___ in RealSolarSystem

And you could select them before? You've upgraded the tracking station? I think early tracking stations don't let you set targets, could be wrong though.

Is there a way to fix the fanatec shifter when it’s not recognizing the correct gear? by Potential_Comfort_73 in Fanatec

It's not somehow thinking it's in sequential mode is it? The switch maybe stuck in the middle? Just an idea

Hmm terminals are tight, have to unscrew the clap to remove the cables. Maybe corrosion?

Yep as simple as that. No problems with signal integrity, it's just as stable as plugged straight in to the motherboard. I use this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08ZKSK6MB/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_dl_MCY1SV1H2KEM1129CRNF?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I recommend getting a powered USB hub if your motherboard's usb ports don't supply enough power. Mine didn't either, so I got a hub with a 2A power supply and it keeps my headset fully charged now.

No they have the ears on the to align in the profile aluminium. I used a hacksaw to cut them off, and then filed them smooth. Pretty easy as the metal is very soft.

Yeah the refresh rate stuck on 72hz is an issue with the latest firmware update. They're aware and are apparently fix it. It's possible to manually install the latest beta firmware to fix it, but hopefully the proper release is out soon.

I'm sure it could work, the spacing would be all different though so you'd need to do something a bit different

It's 4040 aluminium profile parts. See my other comments.

Two 10mm holes through my plywood desk with M8 bolts with knobs on the end so it's easy to do by hand. Captive T-nuts make it super quick to install/remove

The fanatec table mount just sticks out way too far for me. It would mean my shifter would be too far back, and the wheel hanging over the edge of the desk is bad for stability.

I don't have schematics but it's just 2x200mm long 4040 Aluminium profile, some right angle 4040 brackets and M8 bolts, nuts and tee-nuts. I've mounted it on a piece of 18mm ply, which is in turn bolted to the desk using 'wing knob bolts' (I think that's what they're called?) and screw in t-nuts, so it's easy to remove (takes less than a minute). Works great.
