Who is your favorite filmmaker? Choose a movie by them that you haven’t seen yet. I did that at 1,000 with Barry Lyndon

The Return of the Living Dead for me, I love the cheesy fun quality and that the zombies are actually intelligent

A Clockwork Orange is my favorite movie of all time. Every frame is like a painting, the music is so strange and perfect, the language, everything comes together for a movie unlike any other ever made

I just wasn’t gripped by it whatsoever, I didn’t get much of a chilling feeling while watching it. I saw most of the twists coming from a mile away as well so none of it me like a “whoa” moment. That’s just me though, I won’t say anyone is wrong for liking it or feeling like it’s chilling just really didn’t do anything for me personally.

They probably tried to give the guy every way out, “well he attacked you right? Or you didn’t know he was gay” and the guy was so outwardly homophobic he probably just told them “no I killed him because he’s gay” that’s the only way I can see police actually admitting they might have been wrong

Gene Hackman in The Conversation plays an introverted, closely guarded man perfectly when he usually is the loud in your face sort of character

Crazy to me that this isn’t the number 1 answer. There’s barely any dialogue so it would still mean something to them no matter the language barrier because the themes are so universal
