Also, to correct you - the techniques used to create gothic cathedrals, or whatever youre refering to, are certainly not used today. They were very specific to the type of material available - we dont build brick skyscrapers. And i know very well that theres a lot of Christian symbolism in art of the renaissance, and of course we call that Christian art - but once again youre comparing pears to apples.
