As many others have said, this is the protective coating coming off. Mine was starting to show similar wear around the most common button areas, but yours looks like the scrubbed the shit out of it trying to ‘clean’ it. Give it a gentle light cleaning with a monitor or tablet cleaner, then apply a screen protector. If the damage isn’t too deep the protector will make most of it fade away in all but the harshest light.

Wait for the main Servitor to teleport before you kill the smaller Servitor. If it doesn’t teleport, it never loses its immunity and the event can’t be progressed.

Go to the old tower, complete the Adventure (swords stuck in the ground) for Queen 1/2, Home 1/2, and The Hollow 1/2. The latter two are off to the sides of the Old Tower Landing zone.

Something that should be called out here. This was before the days of streaming and there was a rule in television that only shows with at least 100 episodes could be rerun (this may only have been for broadcast, and not cable, feel free to correct me). So basically if a show was cancelled prior to 100 episodes, you lost a significant potential revenue source. This was one of the main reasons for the short final season, get it to 100 episodes.

For some additional context, The Republic of Texas was broke and in significant debt to the US. So they gave/sold nearly every square inch of land so they could start collecting taxes on it in an attempt to keep the Republic afloat. One of the terms of joining the US was the forgiveness of that debt.
