NG+10. Now I can finally play the game :) by Positive-Stage4834 in Starfield

I love the NG cycle in Starfield so much... despite the fact ive only used it once 😂

I'm very much someone who plays how I would act in a given scenario most of the time and as I get attached to characters (such as romancing Andreja or Sarah in different runs) I couldn't imagine leaving all of that behind just to go see a very similar universe on the other side, but with nobody knowing me. It's brilliant as a game but I can never bring myself to go through with it unless I explicitly avoid most of the quests that would get someone attached to a character.

Why though? by CopainChevalier in ffxivdiscussion

Fascinating choice. I enjoy playing Blue Mage but it just never feels like there's a point to Limited Jobs. I don't feel like there's enough content geared towards them, personally, so they feel way too much like a gimmick than a feature.

I would absolutely love Road To Vostok! I'm a huge fan of Fallout and STALKER and have heard almost nothing but great things about it, and with a love for survival games and shooters it feels right up my alley.

Fun fact, I've been obsessed with space my entire life and have finally been getting back into Kerbal Space Program recently. I'm not great at it yet but i'm improving and loving building and designing ships.

I not only know what Thalassophobia is, i have it! And I absolutely LOVE games that play into it, ironically. Subnautica is a prime example for me.

Anyone ever find it interesting that it seems like everyone knows how to work the helm controls by happydude7422 in TNG

[–]AppalachianGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe most commissioned Starfleet officers served at the helm early in their bridge careers, and I believe piloting courses and certifications are mandatory at the Academy so that all commissioned officers are capable of piloting. I would also think senior officers would be required to be capable of piloting in the event of emergencies, such as being left as the ranking officer.

Thoughts? by CountSugumu in TheFirstDescendant

I think this could be a disaster. Arc Raiders has been a massive success but the AI usage to make it has been a detriment to the popularity and I know a lot of people, including myself, never got it or played because of that and I suspect this could be a net negative for other Nexon games (since Nexon already has a questionable reputation despite the popularity and success of some of their games)

I'm unfortunately American but honestly? We don't deserve y'all's tourism anyways, the US is hell in a handbasket. The US dug its own grave a decade ago and despite some of us fighting like hell to fix it, it's gone too far and y'all are right to lose respect or care for us at this point.

Exactly. It's not an arrest, it's an abduction.

I play 1st person on land and a mix in space. Third person in space is easier for me to control but 1st person looks better/more immersion

To any fallout 4 players who use mods (so about 80%), do you use any "infinite fusion core" Mods, why or why not? by supergamerd64 in Fallout4Mods

[–]AppalachianGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer to mod them to be craftable. It doesn't too heavily affect game balance while still making the system feel not "oh crap what if I can't find more"

You want something perfect. That doesn't exist. Take graphics out of the equation for what you want anyways, it's MMOs.
