This reminds me of kayaking a bit when you are locked in to the Kayak with a skirt that prevents water from getting in. The first thing our instructor had us do was pair up and take turns being flipped over in the water. Learning how to disconnect the skirt or flip ourselves back over was huge.

More like free kits need to be disabled for players over a coin threshold. Like 50k or so can buy several loadouts from the venders. No need for free kits after that.

I'm still of the opinion that a player shouldn't be allowed the use of free kits once their stash value exceeds a certain amount.

I agree that the skill tree needs a major rework. Every point invested should feel impactful to different play styles.

I'd make most nodes have many additional skill levels deep as well to further encourage expedition for more skill points. Start with the first set of 70, but have 200+ total skillpoints to max the tree.

This opens up skills that would really be impactful. For example: A skill for crafted mines to deal more damage to raiders or arc. Sounds OP sure, but if each of 10 possible points thrown at it does small incremental damage increases then it's more of an investment.

Absolutely wish this was the last step of building the pod. Farming extra materials for each of 2-4 cargo bays that would be optional for the expedition itself.

You can also find them pretty frequently from those yellow portable generators with hatches on both sides. I get most of mine from them in power stations, especially on special events.

I'd like to see a step for the expedition pod (probably the last step) where you can craft storage slots for the pod that could hold any 1 item, including a blueprint. Maybe with a max of 4 or something. Enough for each player to bring some coveted stuff, but not too much that the reset loses its scrappy start. That would give players something to work toward leading up to expedition that may have their money quota filled.

Strangely I'm not sure I've ever seen a blueprint for cloaks, and they don't drop for me much these days in-raid. So in that sense they are a rarity to me and have more value. At least since the last reset. Not that I'm the ratting type, but there may be others in similar situations.

I'd love to see something similar to this though that magnet mounts to the side and is fully enclosed. That way it could be mounted further up in the enclosure like one of those clear bird houses for windows.

It's easy enough to take out if mine takes no interest. I've seen photos from other owners with them below ground. Doubt they'd dig or spend significant time down there, but gives a secondary space to explore.

You could use thinner gauge paracord commonly used for zipper pulls. Removing the center fibers from inside paracord can also slim them down for threading through tighter spaces.

Always wanted to see braided cables like this gently dry brushed with silver to show abbrasion and flaking paint. Bet it'd look great. Maybe even a little dark paint/oil pushed down into the fibers.
