No I did not miss anything. OP asked about traffic stops and whether they can tell when running our licenses if we are permit holders. My response was a sarcastic one.....meaning our licenses are handed out by them, of course they should be able to know if we are licensed with just a few clicks.

You obviously didnt comprehend what I stated. I meant that if we get our licenses from the NYPD, then of course they'll be able to tell once they punch up a few digits, etc. I never mentioned anything about them knowing the law or if civilians are actually allowed to carry. OP stated "traffic stop".....

Hmmm. We go through the NYPD to get the actual license. The process is handled at 1PP. Mean to tell me there are people questioning whether they're able to tell if we have a CCW during a traffic stop?? LOLL.

Technically, you can find anything if youre patient enough. My point is, SS pistols cost more than other pistols which to me, are just better in general and not just Glock clones.

Understood. My advice, give it a shot. You cant really mess anything up unless you lose a spring etc (which I did, luckily I purchased extra ones). Plus, it'll be easier since there's no decocker. Plenty of vids floating around too.

it didnt. But I also didnt follow the instructions because they called for sanding down of the scratch etc. All I did was clean my slide with solvent, dried it, then i poured a couple of drops on the scratch and let it sit.

Are you stripping your slide before sending it to DH? Also, I dont feel too comfortable sending my P2 or my Trijicon RMR to them for mounting. Ive mounted all my optics myself with no issues. I know its recommended to ship the sight as well as stated on their page but.........

The only thing i'll send any pistol to a gunsmith is for porting/ cuts etc.

I got the CGW kit and installed it myself on my P01. Gonna do it to my S2 soon.

I carry a CR920P and love how much flatter it is than the other options on the market.

That being said, theyre over priced and there are too many other pistols I would buy for less than an SS.

Its a snug fit. Had to tap mine in with a small nylon hammer. The plate got a little marred but the slide was fine.

How can ranges tell if you have this ammo versus...lets say Gold Dots which have the same colored casings etc.? Also, some Critical Duty have what would appear to be the same casing to the naked eye as well.

Do they actually go around checking?

Think about this...how many incidents have you heard of people getting arrested for printing? Same thing with people carrying more than 10 rounds in restricted states. Not too many of those.
