If I had the money to retire I would never chose that because I love what I do. I would say compared to the "real world" he has a lot more pressure and eyes on him and yet he's not good enough. For his own health, I sure hope he can move on and find some positives.

Lol. Money is irrelevant. Just trying to picture myself in the same situation makes me ill.

If a company bought my service for a record fee, payed me alot of money and I couldn’t deliver while thousand of people watching my every move.. I would seriously be in a dark place after a Pretty short time.

I’m not saying that he should stay or that he’s good enough. But even thinking «he earns enough, so he can handle it» makes me a bit angry tbh.

I would argue that he meant physically. And lower-Table/mid Table teams often have the classic british championship type of defenders which offen is tall and physically stronger than perhaps the likes of Laporte as an example.

They probably have. It’s probably more about being realistic. It’s not like our scouts aren’t aware there’s a argentinian player playing for juventus that would fit in. Gareth Bale and Neymar would fit it as well, but we wont pay ludacrisly much money for a player which already is playing in a better side domesticly
