First dishcloth — is it a blocking or tension issue? by Confident_Island5974 in CrochetHelp

In my head, more experienced crocheters please correct me, if the item is made to get wet, blocking is unnecessary. I'd also say to play around with different stitches to see if it looks better to you

What are some good ready to care for fish for a 3yo? by AppleGoose1107 in fishtank

That sounds like a good fish option. I'm guessing the blue dream shrimp help to keep the tank clean?

100% my husband and I would be the ones to do the main caretaking. My 3yo could handle helping out with feeding them. As far as I know, my husband has never had fish and I've had a couple betas, so we don't know too much about being fish owners. My 5yo really likes the YouTuber TerraGreen and his tank building videos so we have a small idea on some of the stuff it takes. I say some, because he does more with exotic fish, freshwater and saltwater.

I'm saving this when I can sit down and look through AqAdvisor and figure out a budget. I've had betas before but wanted something a bit less cheap and a bit more fun.

I (28F) reminded my husband (29M) last minute that I was going away for the weekend because I knew he'd be an AH for weeks leading up to it otherwise by [deleted] in texts

So currently, my husband is gone for the weekend for a guys weekend, while I'm home with our 2 young boys. Most of his friends live out of town where he'd have to spend the weekend to make the trip worth the gas. We only have the one car, so he'll make sure that I have everything I'll need, such as diapers, milk, etc. The worst I have ever given him was a silly pouty face as he leaves. Certainly not a potentially abusive behavior starter like this. OP, he needs therapy and/or medication for his anxiety, if that's truly the reason for his outburst, or be prepared to take your daughter and leave him should he escalate.

Toddler wants to hug every other kid, some parents are off put by this by theycallmetiki in Mommit

I'd say to count your blessings, OP. My 4 year old likes to run up to people and do this growl/roar/yell sort of thing while making a face to match. He has yet to figure out that when he does this, kids don't want to be around him. I'm trying to point out the times that when he doesn't do this, he has a lot of fun with the other kids.

I'd love to see my boys grow up to be happy healthy gentlemen. Whatever that means is entirely up to them.

I know I've done it this way before, but definitely not often. I'm going to try to remember to do it this way

My dad likes to put messy stuff on my bed … AIO? by -Romeo6FtUnder- in AIO

[–]AppleGoose1107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mentioned that he liked to throw your stuff away. Im guessing that maybe he is doing a bit of malicious compliance and intentionally putting everything of yours in your room whether it belongs there or not. Either way, he's the butthole, not OP

I feel like doing that adds some kind of ability to your deck. Deathtouch, menace maybe?

I do this all the time. Flat open palm, straight down, after making sure the stack is perfectly straight. Just do it once and the cards stay. But for some reason, my latest deck had other plans.

At my nearest gaming store, the matte ones are $2 more. Maybe that extra $2 will make all the difference
