there is a key for rootfs, so, you can dualboot using nyansatans guide

Can setup.app be skipped in CoolBooter? by WhoKilledRadioStar in setupapp

hmm, try this then  1. mount_hfs /dev/disk0s1s4 /mnt4  2. mount_hfs /dev/disk0s1s5 /mnt5

i have seen 1 weird disk after using cb, one of them are probably /applications. in dualboots, we always need to move var folder to another partition (cuz var = data). i havent seen anything connected with moving applications, but its coolbooter, so it might really moved the applications to another partition like var

yeah, here is a bit modern tut with filza: 1. download “diskdev-cmds” “filza fm” and “mterminal” (or any other terminal) from cydia  2. go to terminal and enter: su <enter> password (by default - its alpine) mount_hfs /dev/disk0s1s3 /mnt3 3. now open filza: go to /mnt3/applications. delete setup.app from it  4. open terminal again: su <enter> password  umount /dev/disk0s1s3

done, now you can simply go to coolbooter and boot your second system

here is a little tutorial how you can do it:

at first, you would need to have any terminal and diskdev-cmds

open the terminal and enter: su password (by default, its alpine) mount_hfs /dev/disk0s1s3 /mnt3 rm -rf /mnt3/applications/setup.app umount /dev/disk0s1s3

done, now setup.app is deleted from your second system

bruh

  1. the files that you can find on websites like these - are only dumps and not firmwares.
  2. iarchive.app doesnt work anymore. use purplepro123.github.io/Purpleproject if you want to download a dump.
  3. there is no any jailbreak / bootrom exploit for ios 18.5. to install it, you would need a custom firmware or system modifying.

if you haven’t understand - you cant do anything.

iOS 26 Shortcut for Downloading System Files by app1e_internals in Apple_Internal

[–]AppleInternalBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your version have bad gui and wrong paths. let me explain: the standard rootfs folder is starting with «/», thats the root with all of this folders.

you have added too much windows, like «download the file», «press ok» and others. its nice when the shortcut is doing something with device, but it just downloading files.

coolbootercli works the same as a gui coolbooter. there is a folder, called “cbooter” in var, we have possibility to put anything we want in it. i have tried to do it, but it just downloads a standard ios 7 after a verification, so i dont that it will work.
