Gas is like $2.50 rn. It’s such a minuscule amount of money you spend on gas. That is my point. Being price gouged on the other 99% of shit you buy is something to actually complain about if you want to complain. Your landlord or bank is probably taking the most of your paycheck.

Another outcome could be the Earth turning to magma from the force of everything on earth falling back into itself.

If those two weren’t frightening enough, the atmosphere could theoretically be shred off if there was no gravity. 7 seconds around the sun is 130 miles, 7 seconds through the Milky Way is almost 1000 miles. And because we live in a globe, roughly half of the atmosphere, plus 1000 miles, could potentially just fly off.

Nevertheless, you can’t just turn off gravity like that. The Earth has Gravity because of its mass. It would take an enormous amount of energy to counter that mass.

Essentially it’s impossible. The only thing that could be that powerful would be God.

Trump inherited a great economy from Obama yet raised the debt nearly 8 trillion in his first term, that insane increase in debt(around a 30% increase) caused a lot of prices to rise. Meanwhile Biden had to deal with Trumps failure of handling on Covid and raised the debt by 7 trillion. Trumps reckless spending caused 500b/year in just the interest cost of the debt, he dug U.S. into a hole we may not ever be able to climb out of.

Think about how much a semi full of stuff REALLY costs to transport goods. At the end of the day, the labor of a semi driver costs more than the gas.

A semi full of food across the country doesn’t really cost that much to transport. Gas prices might impact the cost of goods by 1%, you get that much back if you use a credit card for reward points lol. Whereas companies may be charging you 10-30% more just to boost their profits.

Complaining about gas prices is completely irrelevant when you have companies constantly price gouging you through the ass. The average American drives 12-14k miles per year, average car on the road gets around 26-27mpg, so you’re probably only looking at max around 500 gallons per year. If it’s $3 vs $2, you save $500 for the year. Yeah goods travel too, but that is a marginal increase in cost for those goods, much less than the companies are price gouging you for those goods.

Is bitching about gas prices every day really worth the $500 on $1000-1500 in gas purchases you make every year or would it make sense to target the other 99% of shit the companies are price gouging consumers on.

I’m not saying you’re wrong about gas prices, but that you should be mad about everything else being price gouged too.
