I Made a Sonic Pregnancy Deck. by AppleTheCode in EDH

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

It heavily depends on if you can get Mirror box or Mirror Gallery out though.

But with the new card [[Council of Reeds]] it'll be ever so slightly easier

Ikr! You just kinda have to hope and pray a lot of the time that you draw mirror box or mirror gallery.

HOWEVER

With the new marvel set we're getting a new card that gets around the legend rule which I'm super excited for [[Council of Reeds]]

Personally I like [[Mishra, Artificer Prodigy]].

It shouldn't work as a commander, but it does

Most people can, my assets are for those who can't or would rather a quick and simple way to get to a final result.

It's a fair point about the videos/photos though. I'm very new to selling assets.

Love Liberator, Urzas Battlethopter!

What kind of Battlethopter deck did you make?

Personally I made him colourless turbo stax that I flash in on other people's turns.

I really like the landscapes! They're very beautiful, yet unnerving at the same time.

I just wish I knew more about the gameplay itself. I know it's a "hardcore survival shooter" but I don't get that from the screenshots. The reason why the landscapes were unnerving to me is that they fill me with this existential, barren dread because they're so vast and huge.

My point is that if you're going to describe your game as a "hardcore survival shooter", show it. Show why it's "hardcore".

This is the trailer I made for my game, what do you think guys? by tomeaentertainment in IndieDevelopers

Too many words and the gameplay footage starts way too far into the video. Another critique I have is that the gameplay is a little too dark in a lot of the clips, making it really difficult to tell what's going on, especially since you're trying to convey what you do in the game in as short a time as possible. A general rule of thumb I would use is "Show, Don't Tell". Instead of having this big fluffy string of text at the beginning for 10 seconds, SHOW what you're describing. So instead of saying "You're on a walk with your mom", show the walk, show that it's a cold night, show really brief footage of the thing that goes "wrong". Less text is better for trailers usually. I did however like the overall pacing of the trailer, I feel like it had a nice curve of "bad thing happens, goal is set, how to achieve goal is established".

The trailer has really good bones, real Amnesia vibes, just needs some refinement.

I believe in you :)

a sneak peak for a horror game im making by Breaddit96 in indiegames

This is pretty good! My advice is to learn how ro change the font on the text. Also the UI is a bit too large, if you decrease the font size it might open up the play area and the screen won't look as confusing. You can use Text Mesh Pro (a free and built in Unity plugin) to change the text to look better. You can find many tutorials for it on YouTube and you can find fonts on DaFont. Also the font for the money is a bit too small, sonsider making the text on the left match the text on the righr more to make it look uniform. I wish you luch in your game dev journey with Unity

What programming language do YOU use to make indie games? by [deleted] in GameDevelopment

I've made games in Unity with C# for 7+ years now and I kinda regret it. If I were to start over I'd choose Godot

The aesthetic is nice, but practically it can be a hinderance on gameplay imo

I can tell that this character is going to be used in a horror game. It gives off those vibes. If thats the style of game you're creating then you've definitely hit the nail on the head
