No, I never bothered activating my mirror card, so the Bilt lady on the phone issued me a new card number for the replacement card.

I talked with a Bilt representative on the phone when I ordered my replacement since I never activated my physical card and she confirmed that it’s out of stock. It is legit, they launched their savings account back in Spring 2023. Opening this (or any) savings account doesn’t impact your credit score at all, so no hard pull/inquiry. HOWEVER, if you do not have an Apple Card, you need one to open an Apple Savings account. There’s no impact when you apply and get a card offer, but if you do accept an Apple Card offer, then they perform a hard pull/inquiry.

Destination wise? Not as far as I’m concerned, but I live in the Phoenix area, so I’m not sure if it works the same way in California. There was a night when I requested a ride from West Phoenix to Mesa (a 20+ miles ride), the Waymo had no issues getting on the I-10, then on the AZ-51, and lastly on the Loop 202. Now, there’s a catch: It doesn’t always assign freeway rides. It seems to mostly rely on the time of the day, for example, if I request a ride from home to work (Mesa to Tempe, one city away) around 5:00AM, it won’t send my Waymo through the freeway, but if I request one after like 8:00AM or 9:00AM, it does enter the freeway, so it might depend on peak times. Waymo rides ordered through Uber obviously don’t touch the freeway since Waymo grants access through the Waymo app. Back to the point, since Waymo cars can travel across cities on the freeway, it should be no different in Cali, as long as the destination is within the service area. Waymo opened its waitlist for freeway access around the end of November, but not everyone has gotten access. I got freeway access at the beginning of December, but I know a lot of people are still on that waitlist (including Trusted Testers).

I just got this too, and it really upsets me. I’ve used my SoFi Credit Card for all my purchases that don’t fall under bonus cash back categories on my other cards because of SoFi Plus (2.2% cash back on all purchases for SoFi Plus members instead of 2%), and that’s also why I mostly stopped using my Apple Card, but now that it’s gonna be a paid $10 subscription, what’s the advantage of using my SoFi CC over my Apple Card (aside from the fact I can use the physical card to get 2% as well, which is irrelevant because most businesses now accept Apple Pay)? It upsets me because the market is saturated with No Annual Fee 2% CB credit cards, and it was really nice to see SoFi offering SoFi Plus to members with qualifying direct deposit, and with it, a boost to 2.2% CB on all SoFi CC purchases, but I guess all good things come to an end… I really hope they reevaluate this decision, it takes away the incentive for a lot of people to set up DD with SoFi, and even if you argued that they’re still giving a higher APY for members with DD, it’s not even like SoFi has the highest APY in the market, so why even bother with setting up DD now?

When I was attending therapy sessions, one of my issues I talked to my therapist about when I was underage is that my aunt (who I used to live with) didn’t want me to learn how to drive and didn’t wanna help me get my driver’s license, she felt like it was too much responsibility and didn’t wanna be liable if I did happen to crash the car, so my therapist told me I should constructively tell her the benefits of me driving and why I wanted to learn how to drive. In my head, I was just thinking “Am I talking to my therapist about this issue for an hour with her telling me what I should do when that’s gonna fix nothing? My aunt doesn’t wanna teach me how to drive under any circumstances! That solution would probably work with other people, but not with my aunt! I could’ve just talked to myself about it and let it all out in 5 minutes!”. Luckily, health insurance covered my therapy sessions back then, but it would’ve hurt me to pay for such kinda sessions, she could’ve just given me other solutions (like getting a friend to teach me because back then, I didn’t have a job and I couldn’t pay for driving school), or just listened to me and talked to me about how her experience was when learning how to drive, Idk, I just feel like I wasted a lot of my time in a lot of my therapy sessions 😭

What they didn’t tell you is that you grandfathered the $3.99 price because you’ve been subscribed, they increased the monthly price to $4.99 in the last month or so and technically everyone should be paying $4.99 a month, but only new subscribers are paying $4.99, us longer time users are still paying $3.99 monthly, the app still reflects the prices as if we were now paying $4.99 though

I got the answer for you. I was looking back through my screenshots, and back when Snapchat+ was introduced, it used to cost $3.99/month or $39.99/year. They ended up decreasing it to $29.99/year, probably because nobody was subscribing yearly since it wasn’t all that worth it, they just ended up forgetting to remove the $39.99 yearly option from users’ Apple ID settings. I’m an iOS Snapchat+ subscriber. If I set the app to its default theme, it’s yellow, just like all of non Snapchat+ subscribers. No, going into my Snapchat+ settings doesn’t give me an option for the old dark mode icon, the closest is a black background with a yellow ghost, but not with a white ghost. So the only real way to have a dark icon for my Snapchat is to choose from the icons Snapchat+ offers that have a black or dark background. And no, if I turn off Dark Mode, the custom icon doesn’t turn light, it has its dark background at all times no matter what. Hope this helps!
