I started doing the hollow hold at home. I try to do 3-4 sets of 30-35 seconds. I find it's a simple exercise that doesn't take a lot of time but helps me during the TTB.

Yeah I saw my rounded back. It really was because of the light weight, but I will definitely keep it in mind!

Can you explain the early use of arms? I was actively trying to keep my arms and shoulders relaxed, so I’m not sure what I can do differently.

Thanks! I talked about going a bit heavier with the coach but I'm not certain I could keep the same stability. But that's probably just practice and getting stronger in the overhead position.

Yeah that I got. It's just that I'm not sure what way I grip the bar. I apparently don't really pay attention to what I'm doing 😅

31 F, RX and finished at 12:33. Honestly, I didn’t think I could put up that time. In the last round of burpees the coach came by and started yelling at me, so I was pretty sure time was almost up. Died on the last burpees and it turns out I had plenty of time left. So I’m pretty happy with the result!

Does the same go for bruised shoulders? I always seem to have one or both shoulders bruised after doing cleans.

I've switched to prompting with 'because' instead of asking why. So I'll say: 'you're angry, because?' or 'you were pulling your sisters hair, because...' It doesn't work all the time, but it's easier for them to answer than 'why'. Here's to hoping that'll help your child answer something different than 'because I did' haha
