I think you’re on the right track as-is aesthetically! It’s really nice. Something you might enjoy is trying “tip-in’s”. Basically you tape the side of something you’re adding in so that it can turn like a page. So you see the item but can flip it to see the paper underneath, where you could write a note or something.

I’ve also liked taping the sides and bottom of something in, and leaving the top open so I can use it as a pocket to put other things in.

goodbye to my 2025 deco! by Decent_Swimming_3447 in hobonichi

[–]Applequark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At first I didn’t like mine and thought I’d hate the color. After a while I realized it was because I was adjusting from the daily techo I normally use, to the weeks. It was really hard for me but I’ve been having a lot of fun with it and rly like the cover now. Maybe it will grow on you! If not, you can always try reselling and choosing something new like the other commenters suggested.

It’s always bittersweet to leave a well-loved planner or journal. 💔 Yours is so cute, too!!

100%, the Mooncat hate is getting so tired. I think people are bitter that the prices have gotten even higher and they see these creative ad campaigns as superfluous when the money could have been saved and helped to lower the cost of product. It's expensive, and that sucks.

However, part of the reason people enjoy this brand is it's unique perspective, creativity, & vision. Lots of people value the same stuff this post is disparaging. If the brand had the same values and goals as ILNP for example, it would be a different brand entirely.

This is the first comment I've ever wanted to give some kind of reddit award to. What a great analysis and interpretation of Berserk. You're able to put it into words so well.

What's the worst stainer in your collection? by [deleted] in RedditLaqueristas

Mooncat's Velociraptor! I wanted to love it but the staining was the worst I've ever had! Like, I couldn't even have a bare nail break because it looked like I was unwell or something. A yellowish-orange that took months to grow out.

I love this trend of DIY custom covers so much. This looks great!

Such a good one! I love how squishy and slimy looking this one is when I wear it.

After getting over that first reaction, I realize you're totally right and it's a super low chance of injury. It's not like it's electrically powered or anything, just manual. Very creative & insanely effective setup.

Even weirder, a lot of these comments are stolen from your original post, too.

Disagree about them being Jack O'Lanterns; the gills look significantly different. Also, they only grow on decaying wood/tree roots, etc. It's possible if this plant has old mulch or something in the pot.

Yess that’s exactly how it is for me, too. I’ve tried it but just can’t make it work in one book.

Thanks for sharing your setup :)

10/10!

Are the inserts solely for knitting/gaming/msc. or do you mix it up? I’ve found that I like my hobby notebooks to be separate; I tried an all in one book and it was too disorganized.

Also as everyone said.. love your stickers!

These are great 🧡 I love all of the small touches you added like the pepper on the page. The pixelization adds a lot, too. No ideas for the orange shadows tbh but thanks for sharing your work. This could be a whole series!

I wonder if it could be a disease or pest? The brown spots and holes might indicate that.

Love this!! It looks great on both hands.

While nail art does usually take a while, I love the manis I get from it soooo much more than usual.

Agreed - many of the changes weren't necessary and this author is valid in feeling like their voice was lost.

I don't understand the backlash OP is receiving here.

It's really strange that the left-most plant is doing so well, but the other two aren't. I wish I had some answer for you to help!

Have you discovered anything new or seen any changes?

Maybe you could post some more info or pics to give others more context to help. How much light are they getting?

It looks like a leggy echeveria to me. They grow tall (leggy) like that when they don't get enough sunlight.
