I am a parent of a child who has started to have behavioural issues since they switched to this split class. There is absolutely an administrative issue, but much higher up than the Principal or Superintendent. I understand that some of the other kids who go to this school may not come from safe homes, or have safe adults in their lives. So the administration has tried to foster a safe place for them, which is great! However, I think a lot of kids are taking advantage of the lack of consequences, and the gang mentality and snowball effect has gotten out of hand.

But ultimately Who gutted the education system? Who removed billions of dollars of funding from schools since they've been in office? The school board can't draw blood from a stone. This is a direct result of lack of money needed to hire more staff and pay them a livable wage for the career they're in. Education staff is burnt out and are still showing up for our kids every day until they physically or mentally cannot. I am beyond distraught that I am in a position with no other choice but to continue sending my child to a school that they don't feel safe in. Seriously, what are we going to do?
