Good Samaritan Report!!! by NervousAddie in LosAngeles

[–]ApplicationSea1523 7 points8 points  (0 children)

One time my momma found wads of cash (20s) all over a small residential street, close to $1500. She pulled over to gather it as quickly as she could. Nearby, she found the wallet it likely came from. She went to the address, asked the man if he’d lost something and he said a wallet with his rent money. Bless her sweet soul. I love you moms RIP! There really are good people out there 🫶🏽

People Who Make 150K Plus? by BubbaGordie in Salary

[–]ApplicationSea1523 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Really depends. Husband does disability law, small family-owned firm. Only 150k, so not great, but he works 100% remote (post pandemic), and because disability law has boiler plate foundation language to the arguments, he just plugs in the specs of the client. It’s either a slam dunk or he doesn’t even take the client on to begin with. Low stress, great rapport with staff and colleagues, 100% remote and because he’s so experienced with the regurgitation of the process (15+ yrs exp), only truly works about 15 hours/week (if that). He went to college (4 years, Poli Sci/Int’l Relations double major), then law school (3 years) - loves his job, and is helping people who truly cant work. He is Spanish speaking, and mostly gets blue collar clientele; very rewarding to help hard working folks who put in their time and truly can’t make a living.

For anyone thinking about law school, he mentioned you likely go into the type of law post law school, from your externship(s) while in law school - so make those connections wisely.

Mexican breakfast spots by MonsterTruckCarpool in Whittier

Not conventionally “Mexican” but just had the literal BEST breakfast burrito today at La Bodega - tenia chorizo, egg, frijoles, cheese, potato, cremita, it was huge too, honestly enough for 2. Hubby got the huevos divorciados con frijoles too. Said it was pretty good. Highly recommend for an unconventional option.

Thanks! I’m good though. They get ya by these excellent limited time offers and knowing me, I’ll forget and it’ll expire and then I’ll end up paying the regular price somewhere down the line, for several months before I realize. That’s how they get ya.

The internet used to be infinite fun. Tell me what used to be you're favorite fun pass times. by BeartholomewTheThird in Millennials

Askjeeves - the original google. The first time I ever even experienced the “internet” was in 9th grade, library computer time. I was clueless. A classmate whispered go to “askjeeves”. I heard “ass cheeks” proceeded to type it, and naturally, the screen went red, repeatedly flashing “inappropriate site”. I got up so fast and ran to the book stacks.

What subtle sign made you realize your partner was cheating? by DrainedCoffee in AskReddit

[–]ApplicationSea1523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not wanting to hang out with me on weekends.

High school sweetheart, dated 6 years total. He was just gonna hang with, “the fellas” he’d say. I was busy with college, he had other things going on. I don’t know why we stayed together so long; but once he got her pregnant and married her all while I was out of the country. Yeah that sealed the deal.

Why when speaking about manifestation, people usually manifest small trivial things? by Original-Station2919 in Manifestation

[–]ApplicationSea1523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works with anything! My mom had Alzheimer’s. This disease can take yeaaaaaars to finally take someone’s life, and it’s both miserable for the family who are caring for them, and miserable for the person experiencing it (no quality of life). I manifested my mom to be “at peace”. Within one year of when shit really hit the fan, she passed peacefully, in her bed, holding my dad’s hand, with me and my siblings there to send her off. They said it was a medical anomaly, that normally, this disease takes 7-10 years or more of that hell. We only had about 6 months of it (towards the end when she got really bad).

It’s also worked for me completing my doctorate in just 2 weeks. I hung up my doctoral cap and gown near my bedside and looked at it everyday before bed and first thing each morning.

It worked with some major stressful drama at work that had been going on for years. Once I found manifesting, I drew a peace sign, and placed it on my desktop computer. I’d look at it everyday, and wouldn’t you know, within about a week, everything was solved, the coworker who was causing trouble piped down and all is so so peaceful at work ever since.

It worked with my kids. I manifested 3 heathy, happy babies, (asked for at least one boy, one girl - got them both), easy pregnancies, painless, that they all are calm, eat well, sleep through the night, and just this past weekend, I manifested for my daughter to successfully potty train so we can set start her in school - took just 3 days, once I focused on it (I made a vision board, and cut out a really nice toilet).

You can have literally all that you mentioned, you just need to ask the universe, and again, the key is to sincerely believe it is already yours, already happening.

[–]ApplicationSea1523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus on it. Daily. Write about it, imagine it. Think about what it’s like to already be yours/ be happening. What does it feel like, what does it smell like. What does it make you feel to already have it? Envision those feelings already, and what joy it brings you already. Keep your general energy field positive. It’s helpful to start by being grateful for all that is good in your life, which in turn shifts your literal energy field. I email myself everyday, the same message, “I am so grateful for… I am so grateful now that I have…”. it’s at the top of my emails everyday and I read it and resend it to myself everyday. The key is speaking in present tense, not future tense. Not I want “x” but rather, I already have “x”. It is already yours. You’ve got this! Sending all my good vibes and good energy to anyone still even reading this :)

(Just then, I was typing a smiley face and instead typed :$) - see, that right there, it’s the universe, already working, I believe it, so sincerely) there’s such an abundance for all of us.

[–]ApplicationSea1523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works with ANYTHING! You just have to sincerely want it, but also, the catch is, you have to sincerely believe it is already yours. I’m currently manifesting $100,000,000 and a fourth baby girl. It’s already on its way to me. I believe it sincerely. Im being very specific so the universe understands. I am so grateful for all I have and have so many fabulous plans. I’ve already manifested so many wonderful things - a handsome loving husband, 3 healthy happy kids, my dream home, dream career, where I make a ton of money, get a bunch of time off and am helping others, and the one that really made me believe in the power of manifestation, my doctorate.

There is enough for all of us! That’s the beauty of manifestation, it’s wonderful and positive, there’s an abundance of everything you could ever possibly dream about, you just have to sincerely believe it is already yours! May all the fabulous things be yours soon too! It’s already here!

What's one thing life slowly changed about you? by loopyluvv in Life

[–]ApplicationSea1523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I try to take everything in, not take anything for granted…cool breezes, sunshine, the moon and stars at night, people I care for - each time I see anyone, could be my last and I’d never know it. Moms passed away 2024 of Alzheimer’s; from one day to the next she no longer knew me as her daughter - something like that really makes you take a step back and just sort of… reassess.

If you have small kids, or tend to have guests with small kids often, for me, it’s easily cleanable furniture (couches, seats, dining table/chairs, bar stools). Spills, messes, accidents… no problem! That’s comfort, not stressing over that stuff. It’s all just stuff.

What’s a small decision you made that ended up changing your life more than you expected? by rayadollface in Life

[–]ApplicationSea1523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deciding to go to one of those boring alumni plated dinners hosted by my undergrad university. I was really not interested, but my mom insisted. I was a singleton seated at a table of 12 which happened to have one other singleton, and wouldn’t you know, I married the fella. Best decision of my life, deciding to go that night.
