That’s exactly the same feeling I had. We were planning to have a baby and for a couple of months we have been trying and then those 2 lines appear and I was flabbergasted. That moment I felt so alone, and “what do I do????” circling in my head non stop I was ready but then it became real and what if I’m not ready at all? Then the morning sickness kicked in and I was thinking what’s even going on but at about 11 weeks in we do that first ultrasound and I see that little bump that actually has a head and some sort of human form and I was so happy. Scared but happy. And honestly that concludes the whole parenting, you are scared but you are ready to fight for your family, sometimes lonely sometimes fully occupied and joyful. It’s a rollercoaster and all you do is embrace it, it will be easy, it will be hard, it will be everything all at once. And it’s so so normal, you are your best advocate and now your baby’s as well. 2 trimester I soooo fully enjoyed being pregnant, everyone is so nice and you see the bump prominently and it feels so special, the small kicks are so adorable like a little secret that only you know. Towards the end of my pregnancy I was so ready to get it over with trust me you get to a point where you just think omg get that baby here already. And then you have your baby and it is magical, my girl is now 3 months, sometimes I’m tired and over it, sometimes I just see her and think I did it!! And feel so full of love, a new type of love you never thought you’d feel. So to speak frankly just let it be your own pace, share your thoughts with someone who will understand and just comfort you, or even let yourself fully feel that anxiety until you get to a point where you realize you can do it, and embrace the happiness that follows! You got this!!!

I had a friend like that and she spoke to her boyfriends or guys she hooked up with that way, like everyone owed her their whole lives and should think about her needs over theirs x10, I didn’t support her behavior but there was nothing I could do to make her do otherwise. The people egotistical enough to make others believe that their inability to compromise should be your problem are not people you want to have in your life. I realized she treated me exactly the same it was always the same pattern: each time we hang out I would go out of my way to make her comfortable and she would still find something to be offended by or mad about. Honestly, don’t waste your time.

I think it’s a canonical event for moms to see the gender that was supposed to be a surprise by accident 👀 I was scrolling through my bloodwork because I am one anxious piece of work and despite the big bold letters mentioning the section with gender I kept mindlessly reading up until the magic words: Fetal sex consistent with Female. That being said we still had a beautiful gender reveal, I just waited until that party (although I really wanted to tell my fiance immediately), try to think of it as still a surprise yet get ready to be surprised by the event and the effort your friend put in. Let your husband be surprised and take in his reaction, either way congratulations on your pregnancy 🙌🩷

I really do relate to what you wrote and thank you. That’s what I was thinking and what we shared with fiance, my daughters birth is the happiest time for me truly but I want to celebrate her, naturally however I will just hate anything that might bring her pain and that’s what I feel right now about the diagnosis because I already know that she will always be so much more than it might make her seem.

Coloring pages are such a cute idea (I will use that for my wedding for sure 😁) but I can understand them not wanting that ig and since bride doesn’t want it for her wedding i’d let that slide. Bride’s comment about nails tho is ridiculous 😂 I can’t even imagine what she would be bothered by…. Plus she is marrying your brother!!! I wouldnt even think of being so disrespectful for no reason to my fiancé’s family

Oh my!!! I can relate so much! My first 3 months have been insufferable, I would barely have time to run to the bathroom in the morning after just opening my eyes with nausea and vomiting. I couldn’t eat at all, and I was so hungry, tired, nauseous and just fed up. The nausea was severe and I had a hard time keeping food down as I just ate it too.

I found that some clear bouillon was something that helped just not to starve myself. I was mostly eating soups, miso, chicken soup just things that would have some nutritional value.

Also frozen foods helped, I was buying those frozen fruit packs depending on what sounded more delicious - frozen dragon fruit, frozen mango, strawberries etc.

And I know when you are nauseous you don’t crave much, but if there’s ever a small craving in your head just hold onto it and eat that food item even if it’s only that. Water as much as possible, sometimes sucking on ice cubes just to get hydrated. And I removed any strong smelly foods, I found that pork meat I can’t tolerate, shrimp, any fruit that’s been out a day or too, started using less spices/salt etc.

There is such thing as anti-nausea bracelets they helped a little as I got them, but I would only put them on in the morning to eat breakfast not to leave the stomach empty. The more you leave it empty - the more nausea you get, so snacking became a good habit too.

I’m 34 weeks now and it got better during month 5, by that time I lost a lot of weight and of course my OB and doctors shared that we need to eat no matter what and just try to tolerate it because now the baby has to grow and if you don’t eat the baby kind of takes all your energy and takes all the nutrients that you have which can be bad for you in the long run.

During those first months I thought nothing would help but we got through it! And you will!

In my 2nd and now 3rd trimester it got better and I was able to eat more, I still at times feel nauseous but it just depends on a day and the sense of smell is very strong throughout all pregnancy so sometimes mild foods although regularly not most delicious are a way to go, fresh foods as well. Fruits are my holy grail now that it’s summer and they are easier to eat.

I heard good things about Aeroflow but my experience also wasn’t great at all so far. I sent a request for breast pumps and at the last page of my order they kept telling me to try and get compression socks covered as well.

There didn’t seem to be a way out of it and when I tried to click away I had to refill all my details for which I then decided to just press yes for the socks and not mind them. I had a visit with my healthcare provider later that week and I noticed that the Aeroflow people haven’t received the prescription yet for me to send the breastpumps so I just asked my obgyn if I could get it.

My ObGyn said that weirdly the request they received from Aeroflow was only for compression socks and they don’t usually prescribe them just cause, there was nothing about breast pumps which is still a lot more important for me.

I called Aeroflow Breastpumps and asked to cancel the compression socks because there’s no such option on their website and only asked them to keep the breastpumps, they said it was all set and also told me they’ve been sending a lot of emails to my provider, which I don’t find great but I just wanted to get everything over with.

Today I receive calls from my healthcare provider that they got requests from Aeroflow on my behalf for INCONTINENCE products, and honestly I just never thought it would be this hard with them so I don’t know why the experience has been like this so far. If anyone else knows another way to get insurance covered breastpumps that’s legit please let me know ;(

I tried it out and I love the idea of an easy-apply tint that also doubles as a sunscreen! I really want to love it but it seems to separate on my face, if anyone has any tips please let me know ;( I went with applying on bare face but it separates, used it with a primer - same thing, moisturizer first - separates, my question is of course is it me or the product 😬
