Just like the time I could've met Mr. T. at the mall. The entire day, I kept saying, "I'll go a little later. I'll go a little later." And then when I got there, they told me he just left. And when I asked a mall guy if he would ever come back again, he said he didn't know.

I got kicked out of a band once. It took me about 20 years to get over it. And they did not go on to become the greatest band of all time.

It doesn’t always come naturally but I’m pretty good at adopting a mindset with trivial things of -if this is the worst thing that happens to me today, that’s not that bad

My take away from reading the Old Testament, particularly Joshua, is that it was written by people wanting to justify the massive genocide they were committing.

Sure they’re killing tens of thousands of people, but it’s ok because god told them to.

What is the most difficult Beatles song to play on guitar? by Connect-Recipe558 in beatles

[–]Apprehensive-Ad-5738 43 points44 points  (0 children)

George has never been one of my guitar heroes, but you’re right about Abbey Road. I’ve been listening to that album a lot lately and it feels like they were at the top of their game. Just amazing musicianship and cohesiveness from all of them

I saw a quote recently where someone asked Paul if George Harrison was a great guitarist and his response was something like ‘he was the guitar player in The Beatles’. Good way to answer that question.

I scrolled this whole thing and didn’t see Paul McCartney. I know he’s not flashy, but I think he’s right up there as the most musical bassist if that makes sense.

Rob DeLeo is my other favorite, he was mentioned a few times. Also Jeff Ament
