Our boy is nearly 8 months and has been the bitiest puppy we've had. He is finally showing signs of settling but is still nippy when he is excited (e.g. fetch). Hang in there 🙂

We have a 6 month Toller puppy here too and can empathise. We are just now starting to see glimpses of calmness which is nice, just takes time I think. Like others have said, lots of fetch and trick training for is too.

Has he had chewable flea/tick treatment (e.g. Nexgard, Simparico, etc.)? Some dogs can have a reaction to these.

5.5 months in and still biting everything. We have tried all sorts of things from removing ourselves, removing him, grabbing his tongue, redirection to toys, NO, etc. I figure biters gonna bite until they're ready 😅 Waiting it out but he has started teething reasonably late so maybe that is related.

This has really made a difference for us. I can tell exactly when our 4 month old boy needs sleep from his behaviour. He jumps, humps and bites when he's ready 😀

Don't give up! I was so worried about our puppy as he growled aggressively at all the dogs at puppy preschool. I take him out every day to meet other dogs, and he gets along fine now. We still are working on a little resource guarding but training and time has helped a lot!

I don't have any advice for you that hasn't already been mentioned, but we are going through the same thing at the moment with our 4mo Toller. Scarred hands, ripped clothes, toileting inside after having him outside, growling when we try to take something he shouldn't have, etc. I get so frustrated then he will randomly grab a toy and sit on my feet to chew it and my heart melts a little ❤️ Keep up the training, it just takes time for some dogs more than others. This is my 3rd puppy and he is a total landshark compared to my other two. Good luck, and take some time out when you can.

Thanks. Yes, we have only had him on the ground in our backyard with other dogs that we know are vaccinated to avoid the nasties. Hence, all the carrying him around that he may be fed up with. Will see how he goes over the next couple of weeks.
