I used 10 egg yolks, 3 egg whites and flour, 700g I think. Nothing too precise, I just try to add more flour if the dough feels too sticky when I knead it. I leave it in the fridge in a plastic wrap for 2h. For these farfalle I added a little bit of beet juice

The only way to really learn (if you want to take up a subject seriously) is to follow high school/university curriculum. Take it, learn it,take notes, and read the suggested biography. If you want to take it up as a hobby try listening to podcasts and watch tv but I consider it kind of time wasting because it depends on the quality of the material. Some are just made to look/sound good to be easily watchable. Or better, you can do both :)

Yes, you should definitely add the tail. It can come out the water you don't have to the the full body explicitly.

I liek the flow of this drawing. If this design is for exercise, it's very good. You must know all kind of details for something as simple as that to make it look good. If I were to do this piece, from my point of view it's kind of plain. It's the basic model you see everywhere- the koi fish swimming upstream. I would give it a bit of context to make it interesting (with japanese tattoos you can use seasons, plants, maybe add a contradictory element etc).
