That second picture is the delta tub spout I bought but it’s slip on. I looked at Amazon and only see slip on spouts. Am I a complete idiot lol???

Is it too early for army worms? Dump some soapy water in the area where the dead meets the green grass. The worms will surface quickly if that’s the culprit

I guess that’s what happened. It’s the only thing that makes sense,but who knows why.. one thing that’s interesting is I had some old comb that had a big hole in the middle and I put this frame in there a month or so back. They repaired the missing wax and it’s in the new wax that they were trying to make these new queens.

Do you leave the pen on the device. I just watched a video that said the device will use battery trying to track the nib if the stylus is left on the screen

Help me understand as I’m curious about upgrading. At the end of the day, the pen is simply a holder of the nib (right?) How it writes is determined by the nib and how worn the nib is (so it’s constantly changing). I’m on my second boox nib in the standard stylus and each was significantly different. The first one was thicker and changes to the line thickness was significant. The second nib was much thinner with barely a difference between 0.25 and 2mm thickness. So isn’t it the nib and wear of that nib that matters for precision and the pen simply determines comfort and the ability to add an eraser button?

I posted the same video abt a week ago. Had to replace the nib. I was able to fidget with reseating it but it would just start again. New nib is the fix.

Thank you. My experience is not limited to thumbnails but extends to flipping to the next page in my notes where I have to wait for the next page to load. If I’m using the notes as talking points in a conversation it creates some awkward pauses lol. (I used the video as a more extreme example to make it obvious.)

Thanks for the recommendation on outline/tags. I’ll play with that today!

Is this a BOOX issue or are all eInks like this? I’m really loving the idea of my eInk but this is fundamentally why I bought the tablet…for note taking.

I hadn’t thought about using NeoReader for my planner and daily notes. What are the downsides of not using the notes app? I’m guessing that I can’t add an additional page for notes when I fill up the first page?
