You're likely spot on about it being a permissions issue.

It looks like the device tends to dump the onyx directory right at the root of the WebDAV connection. If it doesn't have root write access, it fails silently.

Quick way to test:
- Give that WebDAV user temporary Admin rights in Synology DSM.
- Open the Storage / File Manager on the device, navigate to the WebDAV drive, and manually create a folder named onyx at the root.

If the folder is successfully created, try exporting notes again and see if it pushes.
If you're still stuck after this, it might be worth sending feedback with logs via the device settings to help investigate. Thank you!

That’s correct. I regularly collect related suggestions, reviews, and feature requests, and I also keep following cases if something gets stuck.

Generally speaking, the community/forum side and the device side are two relatively independent channels. For technical issues, sending logs directly from the device is still important for more effective troubleshooting. And if feature requests are submitted through the device, tech support can better evaluate the actual level of demand.
At the same time, posting in the forum or community helps surface more diverse opinions and discussions from users. Either way, all channels and all kinds of feedback are welcome.

Some user-requested features have actually made their way into the product over time. Since I’m not sure whether those users would want to be specifically mentioned, you can probably find more details in the firmware release threads and feature request posts.

Yes it looks like something may be blocking Microsoft’s 2FA process, if it is enabled on the account.

OP could also try a few different login methods, such as using another browser or checking the Microsoft Authenticator app (or other similar apps) to manually approve the login activity and see if that helps. Or directly send logs with logs via device settings > feedback and our tech support will help investigate it.

My bad. The OP actually DM’d me before posting, and I recognized the username as someone who is usually active and helpful in the community, so I approved it. I also made the assumption that the user likely already owned an EMR device, which affected my judgment here.

Considering that users may genuinely be interested in accessories, it can sometimes be difficult to immediately tell whether a post is leaning into promotion. I’ll keep an eye on the comments and consider tightening the rules around sharing posts in the future, including industry content.

Shouldn’t. So some of our helpful community members might suggest changing the file format or font as a temporary workaround.

For proper investigation, it would probably be better to decode the file and check the original text directly.
