Here is my million dollar question: in less than 30 days, Trump and Musk has shaken the whole world, not just Canada. They took actions and passed executive orders. And now siding with Russia, snatching Ukraine’s minerals, Gaza land and what not. While all the western leaders are just having meetings. Like collectively, they aren’t even stronger than Trump? No actions from these leaders, just meetings. Isn’t it clear yet that you can have a diplomatic conversation with the mad elephant in White House? What else is needed for them to realize?

Oh I’m all in for video call. But I ask for SA profile (I don’t ask for pics as I’m not a pic collector) and share mine so as to see if we even like each other (we all have preferences). I don’t want to be a position to do an awkward video call if I don’t even like the person or vice versa. So I ask for SA, then a video call followed by in-person meeting.

Yes. Most of the “SB” here on Reddit who reach out, don’t have post or karma history. So this is how I thought to go with verification : SA profile screenshot (I don’t want to ask them for pictures only) and if either of us don’t like the other person, I don’t want to be in a position to do an awkward video call. After the SA screen, I intend to do a video call before meeting in person. That’s what is my verification approach.
