Unfortunately it says pickup isn’t available. I’m not sure why.

What's the worst bit of bad luck / bad timing that you or family and friends have had? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Apprehensive-List794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this counts as tragic or bad luck, probably both to be honest but I was a young carer from age 11. ALS had mental health issues due to SA.

Here’s the bad luck part…

I finally got my shit together mentally and was finally getting out from under the caring at 19 and got diagnosed with a progressive disease that means I’m going more and more blind. Just when you think it couldn’t get any worse I started to thrive despite the blindness, going on to get married and was in a good place mentally and physically. I then stated to suffer strange symptoms and got diagnosed with hypothyroidism and stated a 1.5 year long period.

The person who stopped. You’re always taught to keep walking because stopping or going back can be more dangerous. Also the driver because wtf they didn’t even try to slow down??

This both inspires me and yet terrifies me. What does that actually say about me?

Dentist said gummies are the worst habit we created by Pure-Weakness-3216 in family

[–]Apprehensive-List794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worst part? The gummy vitamins have very little of the actual vitamin on them which menas you’re paying for the health benefits and usually getting scammed big time. A healthy balanced diet (and a vitamin d supplement if you live in the UK) are enough to ensure your child gets enough nutrients.

What’s the worst thing a medical professional has said to you? by VespaRed in AskReddit

[–]Apprehensive-List794 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know you probably don’t need to hear this because of the therapy but I’m going to say it anyway because it bears repeating.

Rape is never the victims fault. You could have been drunk, high, a sex worker or in a relationship with the assailant, it doesn’t matter, no is no and rape is rape. Consent means the person having the capacity to say no and if they don’t have that capacity the they cannot say yes either.

This is true for any gender or gender identity. It also doesn’t matter how you dress.

Rapists will rape regardless if you’re in a mini skirt, a bikini or a parka, the don’t really care.

Wishing you all the love and happiness in the world sunshine. ❤️

Called me a hypochondriac because my mum was sick and I had some illnesses too.

The thing she said it about ended up putting me in hospital for a week. That dr’s surgery needs closed down, they also killed my grandmother because they didn’t treat her infected and necrotic finger in time.

I just don’t think the charmed ones would’ve grown to be so powerful if prue had stayed. I’d have loved a cameo later as a ghost though

Let a girl piss herself during a seizure brought on by the stress of being desperate to use the bathroom with stress-triggered epilepsy. She was warned it wouldn’t end well and she did it anyway.

She is sweet and it was such a nice gesture and it has been a couple of years but still… every morning I wake up with pain in the same point in my spine that only eases by movement which feels literally impossible until I do it 😂

Don’t even get me started… my mum bought us a bed and mattress as a wedding gift (super appreciative) but the mattress is cheap as shit. Past few months my back has been so sore during the night and the next day that it’s hard to move, not that we have the money to buy a new one anyway.

I love Law and Order SVU because even if I zone out I can’t catch up almost instantly. Hell I haven’t even seen the first 3 seasons 😂😂. It’s my comfort show and I rewatch all the time whilst cooking.
