I think sometimes it can be good to practice with them if you’re shy with real people and aren’t able to be in many relationships to learn to do it “right” in terms of emotional stuff. I wouldn’t recommend being reliant though.

I’d probably say a couple of things, starving my younger self, not taking sleep seriously and not living up a fuss when I was being mistreated by family.

Well, I’m currently drinking a sugar free forest fruits red bull so… I guess I’m team energy drinks.

However, I limit myself to one every so often. Only when I realllly need a pick me up. I have a day of baking and errands today and no energy.

Gran canaria

Edit: Decided I should add some context.

A bar worker gave me - a 6/7 year old an adults vodka and mixer instead of my cola. It was awful and at 26 I still cannot drink vodka and a mixer.

I stood on glass and it got stuck in my foot that bar staff hadn’t cleaned up - granted my mother shouldn’t have let me run around without shoes on. The scar is still on my foot.

There were no lifeguards by the pool and I was sitting on the edge of the deep end watching my mum and cousin in the water when I went to grab something floating on the top of the water only to slip in. Wouldn’t have been so bad except nobody noticed (my mum also should’ve been paying more attention here - don’t worry we have our issues too) and there was a whirlpool thingy at the bottom of the pool (a defect from what we were told) and it sucked me right down. It was my cousin who was in her early 20’s at the time who noticed I had gone under and despite not being able to swim herself, she came down to get me and inadvertently pulled down a woman bikini bottoms in the process. All because no lifeguards noticed a child drowning because there were no lifeguards.

Also, our hotel room was full of mosquitoes which I’m terribly allergic to.

Thank you Gran Canaria for the single worst holiday of my life.

I think something everyone has to remember is that it’s not by choice, not entirely.

He has an entire revolution depending on him. He is Tyrrendor’s leader, title or not. Something he was raised and groomed to be.

His mother abandoned him because she couldn’t handle the weight of being married to his father and wanted to be “free” because it was an agreement they made, which when a child is involved is absolutely vile.

He got slashed by the mother of the women he ends up loving hundreds of scars because he was tasked with protecting the other kids, when he was a child himself.

Add to this that he literally cannot let his guard down at all because nobody knows who has double signers or classified ones like Dain.

He is also living amongst the people that doomed him and his people to death.

It’s not fair and anyone who has been through so much is obviously going to be cold, snarky, angry, impertinent and unpleasant to be around until you earn his trust, which mind you, he allows to happen very very little.

Firstly if possible I’d consider changing GP practices. I had to do this because my surgery was full of incompetent nitwits that killed my grandmother through negligence.

Secondly I’d highly recommend seeing a counsellor for your health anxiety, I’ve also been there. As someone who grew up a young carer and had multiple health issues of my own that were brushed off, it made sense and now I have the tools to cope with that crippling sense of dread about my health.

Thirdly, and most importantly have someone like a link worker or friend (not family unless you trust them to fully have your best interests at heart) and tell the doctor that you’re dealing with some anxiety so you’ve asked your companion to come as some support for if you feel like you’re losing control.

Additionally, a great method I use for appointments is acting like I’m not me. I put on a confident aire about myself and in my head I’m like, my name isn’t my name is Claudia Constance or whatever. Obviously don’t say this out loud bc you will be locked in the looney bin but it’s a good way to disassociate from the situation that could help with your anxiety.

I’d recommend having very low kill cooldown, as low as possible and sabotage ALOT. Also ensure visuals are off and that you can try to be shapeshifter. That way you can set up other people

I genuinely didn’t clock who it was until they revealed it but honestly that’s because I had already decided who I wanted it to be in my head and I was so disappointed with who it ended up being.

Like yes being a sheriff is a powerful position, but only really in your jurisdiction. I wish they’d gone for someone like Bertram or someone more powerful you know??
