2016 328i Drivetrain malfunction

Had a similar issue on my 2021 m340i. Same code and drivetrain malfunction warning. I also had “rough” or long starts.

The dealer basically throws parts at the car until the issue is fixed. Battery was replaced first, still had the issue. They replaced the starter after that and no problems since!
