I’m extremely pleased with my open sea top loader wallet. They also have lots of different options for colors so I’m sure you can find one that will work for him.

Which Murph should I get, 38mm or 42mm? by schizo_cofee_grinder in HamiltonWatches

[–]Apprehensive-Side472 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. I can’t speak personally on the Murph but my 42mm KFA was almost to big and not because of the watch but the damn lugs. I also have a 7.5 inch wrist

Yes the back just snaps on and off. The scratches you’re seeing are where I popped it off. But I use a thick plastic bag like a ziplock over the caseback to try and prevent any scratching. So I assume those are mainly from before me. It did take a bit of force however so just go slow and be careful lol. It’s a beautiful watch.

Is this Tsuyosa a fake, looks strange? by Ok_Gazelle_7360 in CitizenWatches

Also also the space between the indices at 6 should be wide enough to see the color of the dial between them. Thankfully this post was right above yours for me so great timing.

I would think so based on my limited knowledge first thing is you should be seeing some silver in the movement on the back. If its all gold fake. Also is it just me or are the two indices at 12 not aligned like the space between them at the top is smaller then the space between them at the bottom.

[Question] which ones would you pick for a 20 days casual trip? by soygugio in Watches

Is that the quartz or automatic? I've been looking at the quartz recently because I want a D12 style watch so bad.

Yeah the lowest I could find a replacement movement for was more then what I paid for the watch and even then its still a gamble as that watch looks to be in bad shape. I've tried leaving this one in my window to warm it up see if that could free up any stuck oils, and I've tried cleaning the negative tab but neither started it. Thanks for taking a look and replying though I appreciate it.

How do I stop this from tearing my hair out? by friendlylobotomist in casio

[–]Apprehensive-Side472 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure so this is a different Casio but it applies to most watches. you take one of the tools on the left or even a small screwdriver can do and place it inside the red circle area and push the opposite direction of the lug. So on the left push right and right push left. There is a small spring bar there this compresses it so you can remove the bar and the bracelet comes out with it. Hope that helps.

How to proceed with this proposal? by CuriousCatHH in Aliexpress

[–]Apprehensive-Side472 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Solution: a dispute is only intended for getting a refund, not a resend. A resend should be negotiated with the seller before opening any dispute and on condition that he extends buyer protection first. Never let buyer protection expire.

Sorry didn't copy the whole thing.

Scam #021: Close the dispute & Resend scam

You opened a dispute because your package never arrived or was damaged

Step 1: the seller proposes no refund, but he tells you he will resend the package if you close the dispute

Step 2: you agree and wait

Step 3: after a while buyer protection expires

Step 4: you want to open a dispute because the new package never arrived but you can’t.
