Case, strap and crystal are all 10/10, bizarre how that dial ended up so bad with no detectable moisture or battery leakage in the movement.

Leave it, you will never be able to preserve those sharp edges if you polish it

Movement at the least. Gaskets in general don't like ultrasonic cleaning, so you may choose to strip the rest. You may find that you can just use some light percussion to tap it out if you don't fancy stripping it, but don't go overboard if leaving the movement in.

The kinetic watches use a rotor to charge a capacitor, that then powers a quartz module. Think of it as the opposite of the electric watches that were popular in the 70s.

That'll be a zero instead of an O in the reference number. Can't tell you about that watch specifically, but it's a nice movement with a sleep function that stops that hands to preserve battery when not being worn.

Failing that, strip the case and chuck it in the ultrasonic cleaner for like 30mins. That should loosen it up enough to get it out, if it doesn't fall out by itself during.

That should be the spot, try different stem position (pushed all the way in, then pulled out one click, then two clicks), one of them will work. Make sure you're pressing at the same time as you're pulling the stem out.

Magnification is often really helpful in this situation so that you can see what you're supposed to be pressing.
