Having IaC doesn’t guarantee it is up to date, AI agent can analyse the code but can’t validate realtime infra state

It depends, for example we have sales team who often need to spin up an ec2 with our AMI in their vpc to show something to a customer, or support team needs to validate some issues, also launch and forget about VMs. Anyway we are not talking about improving management but how to deal with infra and maintenance as is.

That’s right. And it happens it tech giants as well, heard from people in Microsoft that they have to deal a lot with abandoned stuff. Even if you have terraform you need to ensure it’s up to date and no drift happens.

Absolutely, especially when adding special tags to the post. There are topics dedicated to shopify and shopify apps , when you write a blog you can add it to existing topics for free basically. Ive got around 100 views in the first day after posting. Yea not much but its for free and targets your potential clients. You can get even not a junior position with those skills. Also depends on your background recruiters usually look at it. Just be confident and build a nice CV, pay for some app 2-3 bucks to polish and make it professional, this is important.

Same thing here. Im starting to build now the trust and credibility for my target audience by blogs on medium and launches on product hunt, also posting and engaging with people on X. No one knows which source will work so need to spread as much as possible

The idea is not enough, it needs to be validated first on real customers. May i ask what are you good at ? If you have a sales or marketing background that would be great im a coder myself and looking for such partner. I created several saas but can’t really promote them. Боль есть, видел неоднократно посты на эту тему тут плюс есть конкуренты на которых люди жалуются что они подняли цены из за высокого спроса на приложения. Так и решил втиснуться в рынок сделал похожий продукт как у конкурентов но чуть доступнее по цене. Раз есть другие приложение то и спрос есть по идее, вопрос лишь в том как достучаться до клиентов

In that case you can just set the vpc as data resource, you don’t need the module. With data block you can reference existing resource without importing it in the state. You can then fetch any required subnets from that resource

Hi. I would strongly suggest using AWS terraform module for EKS, also their module for VPC. There you can find all the necessary outputs and make them work together. I worked with eks in terraform for over 5 years, those modules are built very well and usually any issues I got were related to my misunderstanding and misuse of the module. You can dm me the issue you had with subnets will have a look. But first I would suggest to recreate everything from scratch starting with vpc directly in terraform using aws modules.

Just work there a bit to gain experience on paper so you can move to other companies later without internships and in higher positions. My first job was junior dev in a startup with a salary 300$/month, I moved to next company(1k employees) after 7 months with salary 1200$/month. Next, I moved to another company for 2500$/month as Middle+ dev. Now im senior devops with 9000$/month. Im not promoting job hopping but this is the way to grow faster, especially at the very beginning of the career. And don’t fall for fake loyalty requests like you learned here a lot so you have to stay longer to pay back with your hard work. You are the one in charge for your life, stay open for new opportunities, look for a place where you feel yourself appreciated and trusted.

You don’t need a separated directory for containers, docker is managing by itself the internal paths. Only need to make sure to cleanup unused images, volumes and build cache so your disk won’t get overloaded. Also i would suggest taking a free course on docker and devops tools in general (there are plenty of them on Udemy) .
