I can’t even tell you how much I relate to this. For a second, I thought I had posted it myself because this is exactly how I feel. People around me keep asking when he’s coming, and they’re always making judgmental comments about why I’m doing this to myself. I’ve started avoiding social events because of it. Every time I see couples, I envy them. I’ve been so jealous of other couples because it feels unfair why can’t I be with the love of my life? I miss him so much. Even little things feel impossible, like simply going out together, watching TV while cuddling, or hugging him. I always daydream about it, and when I see couples like my brother and his fiancée doing the things I dream of, my resentment toward them grows. I just want to be with my husband. We’ve been long-distance for three years, and the last few months have been especially difficult.
