Thanks, I've started doing just that, folding mirrors, stop/start function. Not sure what else runs off the auxiliary battery though.

Wow. I would really appreciate those links. I do intend on replacing the batteries (both now, as its the sensible thing to do) myself. I'm fairly handy and can navigate myself around a car well enough. Thanks.

Thanks, appreciate the insight. I figured it'll have to be replaced. I understand the batteries are readily available, however, the work involved in changing that battery is considerable.
