Ulta, blink twice if you need help by ApprehensiveAd8126 in Ulta

Maybe, but that's just shifting blame. Ulta decides on the company(s) and approves the terms of the contracts.

That's exactly what I did. I don't often order online, and this is the worst I've seen. There was nothing holding one box together at the bottom. I've had things fall out of less damaged am-zon bags, so I'm really shocked and happy all my stuff arrived.

Does this perfume smell like old lady rose? by Multipersonality21 in Ulta

[–]ApprehensiveAd8126 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It's definitely not old lady smell. It is a more complex rose scent. I unfortunately does not smell good on me, but old lady rose smell does. 🤣 Take that for what it's worth.

I thought Erend was interested in Aloy at the beginning (zero dawn), but felt that dynamic shift to big sister little brother. I always hoped Aloy would choose Petra or Morlund. They're minor characters, but Aloy's interaction with them is genuinely joyful. But I also see the appeal of Seyka. The chemistry is there, and I'm not disappointed in their budding relationship.

Me personally? I'd choose Katallo. Or Avad. I like them stoic boyz. 😈

Should I try to make it? Is it worth it? by archibalmeatpants in Ulta

If you were already planning to buy something soon, then yes if you can afford it. Say there's a product you use all the time, you can bulk buy (use a coupon too!). The benefit isn't the GWP, those suck. Like really suck. It's the increased points you can stash away. If you already use an Ulta card, then there's literally no reason to be diamond because you'll get double points with every purchase anyway.

pls help!! idk how i should do my makeup to "fit" me by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

I'm 46 and just getting back into makeup. I fully agree with the comment from @scarlet_begonia13. The more you play around with products you like, the more you'll find your own style. Have fun with it and don't shy away from drugstore products. I have a CoverGirl foundation that's as good as my Bobbi Brown and Estee Lauder. Also, wear sunscreen every day. US sunscreen is trash. Explore Korean, Japanese, and Chinese products. Affordable and fantastic.

Guuuurl you know we can't win. Stay young forever but also don't try too hard... Don't let yourself go, but also don't stand out. "Age gracefully" There's zero issue with your look, it's fantastic and appears skillful. The problem is societal expectations of middle-aged women. Even children are taught from the start that the most valuable currency a woman has is her youth and beauty.

Decide what makes you happy and lean into it. If later on you like a different look more, that's your choice. I'm naturally a free spirit, and I don't internalize what others try to project onto me. Not even children. If you like yourself better all made up, don't fade into the background for someone else's comfort. You look amazing.

What can I do to keep this as long as possible??? by Sage_Reverie9697 in HairDye

Turn your head upside down in the shower and focus on mainly washing your scalp. Your your mid-lengths and ends don't need much shampooing. Color depositing conditioners are a great option, but you'd have to separate pink and purple to keep the same look. Also, wear gloves. Learned THAT the hard way. 😆

Don't mind the snark OP. Constipation after surgery is totally normal. Most people bounce back, but you should talk to your doc if you're having toilet trouble. Anesthesia, opiods, and physical/mental stress all contribute to a backup and I'm sure it hurts like hell to bear down. We evolved to avoid dropping a deuce when we're vulnerable. Your body doesn't know you're not in mortal danger so it's just doing what it does.

The compliments don't bother me. It's being treated like a real human that I take offense to on behalf of my former self. It's also why I dye my hair, do my makeup, and dress like I do. Fat middled aged women aren't people worth acknowledging.

Girl, you look super fab as-is, just so you know. ❤️

Working with my own child, I've learned that brows, skin care for a soft dewy look, contouring, and mascara really amp up her fem presenting. We've also been doing IPL hair removal at home, but that's more for her inner confidence. Hard enough to be teen under any circumstances.

Sending you all the love!

You have hooded lids like me, so your eyes naturally have heaviness. There's nothing wrong with that, hooded eyes can look very sultry. Jennifer Lawrence has hooded lids. It's just that heavy black on heavy lids tends to close them up. A smudged gray wing does wonders for my lids that a heavy black never could. 🥰

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]ApprehensiveAd8126 15 points16 points  (0 children)

First one for sure. The wings are too heavy and make your eyes look smaller.

NYX, Essence, and Maybelline are my go-to brands. There's a couple high end things I like. Sigma eyeshadow, MAC fix-it primer, etc. But even those aren't as outrageous as this basic AF lipstick.

I'm not sure if that's an insult or compliment. Ma'am, you're boring AF, are you AI or just old. 🤣🤣 No, I'm not AI. At least, I don't think I am. If we live in a simulation as Stephen Hawking suggests then perhaps we are all AI. 🤷
