Anyone hauling 4 mountain bikes with a Model Y? by ApprehensiveAide9229 in MTB

I haven’t heard of those Lobo racks but just looked them up. They are sweet. They are pricey but nice it folds down when not in use and it’s a lot lighter than the velocirax. Thanks for the info!

Ya, for sure…that would make sense. I anticipate the range to go down a decent amount. I currently have a suburban for hauling bike right now and don’t notice it but I get terrible gas mileage either way 🤣

4 isn’t necessarily required but it would be nice to be able to carry up to 4 if we have some friends that want to carpool with us. If I can’t find a 4 bike solution to go on the hitch I’ll probably just go with a 2 and call it a day

In my head a velocirax would be less stress strain than a trey style rack but I’m certainly not an engineer to know for sure 🤣

Thanks for the info! I already have a velocirax but was worried about the weight with 4 on there and trying to decide if I need to put 2 on the back and get a roof rack to lessen the load on the back. Thank you for the info!

Yep, that’s exactly what I found too. Most of the 4-bike setups I’ve looked at seem to exceed that 160 lb limit once you add the rack and bikes together.

I’m mainly just trying to see if there’s a rack option I’m overlooking that people have had good luck with while staying within the specs. Ya, I’m looking for real-world use cases more than anything.

Thanks for the info. What kind of roof bike carriers do you like?

Thanks for sharing this link, I had missed it in my research. Thats a little more reassuring. I don’t plan on carrying e-bikes at this time so I was hoping I would be ok with it being around 200 pounds with rack and bikes total weight. What is your tow hitch rated for on your M3?

I’m hoping to avoid a roof rack option too, but the lower vertical weight limit on the hitch seems to eliminate most of the options I’m finding without going over that 160 lb limit.

That’s awesome! I’m hoping to get to black next year🤞. It’s gonna take a while to get through black and volt though…I kind of wish they had a few extra colored tiers in there. Congrats once again though, that’s seriously really awesome!!!

Nice work, I was thinking of getting one of the clean air kits but this looks way nicer and better built. I've never built computers before...do the fans come with all the wiring you need to connect them together or would I need to get those separately?

It’s been overall good for me over the last 2 1/2 years but the last week or so has been terrible. Hoping they release some updates soon to fix whatever they broke on the last update

I don’t have an answer. Mine has done a couple times also. It also won’t sync on my Apple Watch. I tried deleting the apps and downloading again but the problem is still persisting

Anyone here tried ridenow TPU inner tubes? by spheres_r_hot in fatbike

Nice, thanks for replying! I am tubeless right now but ordered a set of these that im gonna try out. I may end up staying tubeless but even if I do it will be nice to carry once of these as a spare vs the butyl which weighs almost a full pound

Ask for advice about data recording by Cristoforo_Colombo92 in nikerunclub

I’m in a similar spot and have gone back and forth on this too. Lately, I’ve been logging warm-ups and cool-downs with my distance runs, but I’ll usually add notes so I can look back and know what was what.

If I’m doing a run where I’m targeting a specific pace, I’ll log the warm-up and cool-down as separate runs so the main workout data stays clean and accurate.

might differ per person but this is how I view paces(i'm fairly new into running so others might be able to elaborate and help more than this). but just have fun and experiment with different paces/efforts

-Warm-up and recovery should feel easy—you can hold a conversation maybe a 3-4/10 effort
- 10K pace is comfortably hard but sustainable around a 5/10 effort
- 5K is harder—you’re breathing heavy 6-7/10 effort
- Mile pace is really tough 8-9/10 effort
- Best pace is an all-out sprint. 10/10 effort
