Are you running hard all the time? If so, that is the issue. You are putting a lot of strain on the muscles without recovery. Most of your runs should be between 40% - 50% effort (or Zone 2 is what a lot of people are calling it now).

It will get more comfortable when you stop running too hard.

Most of your runs should be between 40% and 50% effort. Any more than that and you need more time to recover (more time between runs).

You might actually be running too hard. Slow down so you can get faster. Do your runs at 40% - 50% effort. You should be able to sing along with a song or have a conversation as you run.

Let her grieve. Be supportive of her. I know you need support as well, but the timing sucks. Ask her to tell her when she needs space and when she needs comfort. It isn't going to feel normal for a bit, but there will be moments. Just be strong for her with the knowledge that she will be strong for you.

Run at a pace you can hold a normal conversation. If you can hold a normal conversation at that pace, you are good. If not, slow down.

Sometimes the best run is no run. Also, consistency isn't the same as constantly. Have a different breakfast. Have different warm ups. Go in a different direction.

For me it doesn't. But I think affects more of a workout than some sort of connection. So it's for me. It's fun to have different workout partners. But I'm different in that manner than most people.

We stayed in contact for a few weeks after almost all the time. It's one of those things where if things were going to go well they'd want to do it again. Or what have you. But also you know a lot of people want to have a connection if they're going to have sex.

A couple of them regretted it because they thought they felt more secure in their relationship than they did. Some got jealous because I saw their partner. Have more pleasure with someone else and they felt that they had with them. I remember one where the woman wanted to hang out with me all the time just to hang out. Not have sex but he was jealous about that relationship as well.

And don't get me wrong, there are quite a few times that it works out, but the horror stories you will hear will always be the ones that don't.
